Got this text from Tesla today. They are really trying to sell the Model Y right now. Looks like it is getting a financing deal, probably matching the Model 3 at 0% for 60mo. I told them I was interested a CT, not a Model Y and that I was waiting for that APR deal. Unfortunately they didn't...
Any ideas on other incentives they might run instead of financing? I'm thinking possibly free supercharging for all remaining 2024 inventory.
I did some math and doing a lease buyout I would still come out ~$4k ahead financing after with Navy Federal at 4.79% vs 0% financing from Tesla if they...
There has been speculation that we will get a better financing deal based on what has been done in China. Model 3 has 0% for 60mo now in North America. I feel like something is coming for the CT but they might be waiting a little bit since they just brought in the lease deal which I don't think...
I don't expect that to have much of an effect in regards to moving old inventory. Lease went up on cyberbeast without changing residual. Probably looking at 10-11% on those.
You brought up a good point. I was already thinking about the perks of the truck in a zombie apocalypse but I didn't consider being able to "Beast mode" the zombies. Sold on the Cyberbeast now.
I'm waiting a couple more weeks to see what happens and hope for a good finance rate in combination with the current discounts. I really don't want to miss out on the discounts but inventory seems to be staying pretty steady. If that starts to change significantly, I'll go ahead and pull the...
I'm in Kitsap and just registered my model Y. It was $294.25 but some of the charges seemed like first time charges for coming from out of state and initial plates.
Good point. Installation cost would be a lot. My house also already has a generator hookup and lockout so I can just by a ~$100 cable and power the house manually.
Lease interest was around ~3% shortly after the lease incentive ended. That was a good deal for people trying to take advantage of the $7500 that didn't qualify or wanted a CB like myself. Allowed me to keep a low payment and save my cash to make more money.
I haven't done the math but they...
I was in the same boat as you but I'm leaning more towards a cyberbeast. Same dilemma with wheels though. In reality you can buy different wheels and better tires for cheaper than what Tesla charges for the upcharge. You can even get the Cyber wheels and winter tires for cheaper last I checked...
Those items are really the only things that would make it worth it for me. I have reached out to ask about that. Listing shows that powershare bundle is included but the note under free supercharging says "not eligible for powershare voucher". The voucher isn't mentioned anywhere that I can find...
I agree but if you take advantage of the lease buyout, its $8k cheaper. I will definitely be doing some follow up research on the lease buyout because I can get a better finance rate than Tesla offers anyway.
Don't particularly want a FS so not worried about that. It was really just if the price point got to a point I couldn't refuse. Mostly concerned about if this will do the trick to clear out inventory and I miss out.
Happened to see prices just drop on 2024 inventory. Foundation CB now $108k. New 2024 AWD $71990.
I anticipated this happening and was planning to finally purchase this quarter but this happened sooner than I expected. Wondering if its worth waiting to see what else happens at end of quarter...
For those wondering about the bed outlets, looks like they have modified the new mobile charger. It has an adapter to allow you to still run electrical equipment through the mobile connector.
