https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/auxillary-12-volt-power-in-rear-finally-tapped-into-trailer-hitch-auxiliary-power.53771/post-30749858 I dont want a bed cap. I’d like to use an awning though. @Cybertruck 1974 ’s rack seems like the perfect thing. I also just discovered the...
  2. Core vs Cyber wheels (and A/S vs A/T tires) for daily street driving

I was worried about my core wheels and was planning on switching to winters during my first tire rotation, but i didnt and have been doing great in philadelphia during this recent snow here. mine have done quite well. I have my aero covers on still. both front fairings have been killed and...
  3. Do newer CT's have IR coating? Drove one that might have it...

getting as much IR/UV blocking is one of the biggest things you can do to save energy in this thing. I believe only the roof has it (at least thats why my tint shop here in philly said - so thats why they didnt do the roof - saved me a chunk of change which I appreciated!)
  4. AITA: 676 on to City Line Ave.

I know right. if you want to go down presidential blvd you gotta get over before you get to the intersection, not as you're turning into it. rookie mistake. I still cant believe that i cant see the damage on my truck haha
  5. AITA: 676 on to City Line Ave.

Philly drivers know this intersection well. this guy beeped and yelled at me a lot after this. I just ignored him and went on my way. was only after I reviewed th dashcam footage that I realized that he got a scrape on his car. I cant for the life of me find on the CT where this happened...
  6. FSD musings

no unfortunately. it would give error messages like “autopilot not available” for her but not for me. cameras showed no issues.
  7. FSD musings

we all know the Elon says a lot of words. what happens after he says them is the trick.
  8. Tonneau opens automatically

do you have the “open frunk when im standing in front of my car with my phone” setting enabled? whats on the other side of that wall? could you have been close enough to trigger that? (you can exclude locations from that behavior if you do have it on)
  9. FSD musings

sorry for the long post. our first tesla is a 2021 M3 with HW3 and we had a weird thing just happen: -FSD (which we bought outright) was acting up for my wife. it would say that it wasnt available, would drive erratically. so I tried it and it basically worked fine with no issue for me...
  10. Cheap Gas is ruining EV debate

also again if youre changing cars every 3 years ICE cars will always be cheaper, and the carbon footprint will always be bigger. the longer you sustainably own and drive an EV, the cheaper it becomes and the cleaner the air becomes. im only 48 but I went into buying the CT with the naive...
  11. Cheap Gas is ruining EV debate

the longer you hold on to your EV, the cheaper it gets. also if you leave your car “running and ready to drive” in your garage, it will not kill you.
  12. Auxillary 12 Volt Power in rear finally! (Tapped into trailer hitch auxiliary power)

created with off the shelf parts or was fabrication involved? I can put stuff together, just dont have access to a drill press, metal saw, or welding equipment. if @Urander made something like this, id be back in the awning buying business.
  13. What automations will you create?

if Majel Barrett could some how be the voice, then I’d use this for a lot! Come to think of it, if we could have an LCARS skin for the screen that would be even better!
  14. After using Starlink Mini for a while, I realized that the mounting bracket and power supply solution are more important than I initially thought.

I prefer that the power source and tripod are separated. allows for dashboard mounting. I went the way that @Leo Snow proposed: https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/convenient-starlink-mini-mount-video.52368/
  15. sigh….

9:45 am Wednesday morning. 4th and Race, Philadelphia. coming home from a night call shift, pull up to a light aaaannnnnddd: good morning to you too, rando.
  16. Tesla FSD v14 + Bike Rack Test (Big Change from v13)

when I attach my thule outset tent to my hitch, it totally blocks the rear view camera. fsd works just fine for me as long as trailer mode is off
  17. Convenient Starlink Mini dashboard mount + Video

mine worked fine facing the front windshield.
