It's not just a cap. It's a circular polarizing filter. The base is stationary and the top half rotates to allow the user to dial in the filter. Below is a summary of what CPLs do. I figured it might be of use due to the windshield could create some glare. Wolfbox makes one for their front lens...
Has anyone considered adding a circular polarizer to either the front or rear camera? I know the Wolf box mirror has a cpl lens attachment. I got the one on Amazon that says it fits the wolf box, but it did not fit the Hanshow front lens. There are others I may try.
As I had the lens in hand I...
Yep. That works for fingerprints. I know Abstract Ocean sells kits for this as well. It's Xpel ppf for the top of the door. You can even get on that the top has an Arrow with the word Push.

I did think about that before placing them.
Afetr a couple weeks of use, I noted a few things.
First off, I noticed that when I am opening the car, I usually pull on the rubber Window trim and don't handle the metal at all, but everyone else grabs for the metal and now rubber handles...
Glad to hear they finally got back to you. Honestly, I expected more as mine was a $2100 difference, but, as you said, $1800 is $1800,. My stuff only took me about 2hrs to remove, so $1000 is an hourly rate for my labor, I accepted happily..
Congrats on things moving forward.
I am getting one from member JessieG9613 on the forum. He runs a 3d print shop on Etsy. I will post it when I get it.
He made this one and It should be similar. I like the angular appearance as it feels like it blends into the CT shape.
Thanks for those answers.
Maybe, I'll just coil the red wire and stuff it in the headliner just in case they come up with a use for it.
It seems so weird the the camera is oriented that way, but it is what it is. I am going to see if I can find a cover that fits it. I think it looks nicer and...
I got mine a couple days ago but have not installed it yet. I saw the instructions and thought the same thing about the power harness wiring going to passenger side and camera wiring to drivers side. My only thought was that perhaps having power harness could cause interference to camera signal...
I understand what you mean. That does make sense. If a couple extra thousand is not going to sway you one way or the other, then I get your logic. Hopefully they will answer you tomorrow and you can accept.
If you have another week before the car even arrives then there is no rush to get their revised offer. If the amount could possibly go up a couple thousand then why not wait?
