Oh damn, good catch, you guys were spot on. The google maps satellite imagery looks spot on and has the same error. I submitted a correction so we'll see how that goes.
There's a store that I go to that has been around for 6-12 months. If I tell FSD to navigate to it by name, it selects the bank next door to it. However the other new construction restaurant next door is recognized just fine if i navigate to it instead. Also, one of the turns into this new...
Reddit is a cesspool for pretty much anything but technical information at this point. Even for that I will typically only use google to find those relevant threads.
Tested on lunch, a few notes...
- Kept center instead of leaning left in the lane.
- "Hurry" seemed to keep up with the speed of traffic much better than before.
- when returning home, it actually attempted and succeeded pulling into my driveway. The driveway is an L shape and ends in a car...
Seems like the major feature is the speed profiles? I did some testing in standard and didnt notice a whole lot of difference.
I haven't tried "hurry" yet but besides more aggressive lane changes, what does this do? does it just push the higher limit of the "max speed"? faster acceleration?
FWIW, i got my update notification completely independent of my daily software check. Figured Iād toss that out there since people still seem to think they are screwed if they check. Looks like these big updates are pushed.
I checked around 7p last night, nothing, and got the notification...
I basically just crank up the max speed and then manually accelerate to the speed I want. Itāll hold that speed until it hits a slower posted speed limit for the road im on. Still annoying to have to do that but it seems to work.
My guess is that they are still fine tuning things for this boat...
First time playing with FSD and recall reading complaints about FSD struggling to keep a reasonable speed. Ended up seeing this on my first drive even though everything else was pretty much perfect.
What settings are you guys using to combat this? Or are we pretty much dealing with it until...
One of the employees mentioned on twitter that they stage it based off of vin for new deliveries due to server load. I imagine they might also want to fine tune things a bit to get it in a better state?
I havenāt had it long but Iāve basically treated it ā¦.like a truck. Iāve squeeged the outside of the windshield, used an extension tool w microfiber to clean the minimal off gassing thatās popped up, and used BKF on the frunk where rust spots were heavy from freight.
I used sprayway to spot...
lol this has gotta b3 s a joke for all the kids out there who never signed up and going their original cyber
im a 32.100 boy and I got nothing yesterday. Iām hoping they may roll an update out this week.
I suspect that some of the slowness with getting the latest FSD out to new vins is due to them really wanting to steam roll through and get CT caught up so they no longer have to juggle multiple builds.
I figured it might be a bit of a pain to get this boat dialed in. Last thing they want is...
It can take up to a month to get the first major update as well as the fsd update for new cars. Rollouts are staged by VIN. I haven't been able to find anyone within the past year or so that has successfully gotten service to push the update manually and early. Just have to wait. Plenty of posts...
