I think with the right tires and some serious weight reduction, it could have some impressive figures. I think a good benchmark would be the old BMW X5 le mans. Brakes would need to be upgraded as well. Honestly, without the weight reduction, I can’t see how it would put down a decent time but...
It’s close to 100mph in a straight line but it’s not beating anything there around a track lol. Cybertruck fan all the way, but let’s be realistic here.
That’s for the 20in “core” wheel with all seasons. I switched my AT option to those but I think I may switch back to the AT. I really hope they get the aero covers worked out on the AT tires.
Premium audio and ventilated seats are not going to be an option. Those will come standard. No other Tesla has ever had options for that and it complicates manufacturing by having additional options.
I changed mine to all seasons and then had second thoughts. The reason being was that a different thread said they didn’t get the aero covers to work and they would simply send them with caps and lug nut covers, but now this may not be true. Can’t change the design and haven’t been able to speak...
My iPhone and MacBook show under system settings and then under battery health, that the maximum capacity is reduced. We don’t worry about it but you can see that charging it to 100% does take its toll. My MacBook Pro is only two years old and the maximum capacity is 89%
I understand the logic, but I’d rather continue to wait and let them fix things and get the beast. I also don’t want any HUMMER EV/Rivian owner to have anything snarky to say ?. They are making constant changes on the assembly lines just as they’ve done with every other Tesla model. They also...
Exactly right. Although I love the look of the AT tires, I recently changed my configuration and opted for the all seasons because I knew the braking performance would be improved. I can’t help but think all the braking complaints are from those AT tires but I could be wrong.
That’s unfortunate, I really liked the design as well. What’s worse is that the tire sidewall design looks odd without the wheel cover. I’m sure they will redesign the tire now that the design no longer serves a purpose. Maybe it’s worth changing to the all seasons.
I don't mind this, considering the beast is taking a while, might be worth just changing the interior to make sure I get it late this year. By then FSD or autopilot will be ready and they will have addressed more issues with the truck, and it may even arrive as a 2025 model. I love FSD and use...
