It's also about location. They seem to start spreading it out to other states based on when they configured in other states first as well.
Still mostly 12/8-12/9 CALI and TX. I think Florida has a few vins and deliveries on 12/16 or something like that.
agreed. Nice to see owners post with a VIN so we can see where they are. Some people are even trying to figure out when they placed their order by hour vs receiving a VIN
most rational explanation ever.
Makes sense now they go to different states even though they had day 1's only in CA and Texas etc.
Can't overload the service centers
I'm a day 2/3 person so I'm assuming mine will come end of March/April.
Just thought I'd create a thread for anyone who ordered their trucks Dec 10 and 11th!
If it's based on the 8th and 9th, looks like they are still fulfilling those orders making me think we won't be getting our trucks till End Feb/ March??
One of my friends ordered his Dec 8th, got a Vin but...
Got these photos from an owner who got his truck! I also think another owner from San Diego on this forum is here so we will see more photos from them. Nice to see actual non employees get trucks in Irvine!
Friend ordered his 12/9 I believe. Got a Vin for about a week. He was told it came from...
So funny how its feb- mar
Not sure how quick they can ramp up but there are TONS of 12/8 and 12/9 buyers who still don't have a car and some no VIN. I'm going to assume the 12/10/ and 12/11 buyers will get theirs in the middle to end of FEB and so forth. So.. people who configured in JAN won't...
so sorry for what's going on. Glad you're still positive. Don't worry about VINS and us. Take care of your family and be with your brother in law and father in law.
It's good. You have the atom chip like my 21 MY. However they switched to the RYZEN chip. WAY faster and responsive. Rebooting your Tesla takes like 15 seconds compared to 60 seconds in the Atom chip
One thing I can say don't do financing till you get a VIN. If you don't get it in time you'll have to reapply and they pull credit again so you get a worse rate.
They also use wells fargo, chase bank, etc. Check out the private banks like DCU. There's another one that offers lower rates as...
