I’m in a similar boat as you. I don’t even take it to the grocery store. It’s my shuttle between my home and vacation home. It goes garage to garage. I will take it to a restaurant as long as I am parked near the entrance and can keep an eye on it. The one time I went to a restaurant and...
Haha, I don’t disagree with you. I was talking about the vehicle. For example, in Colorado we can only use the force necessary to stop the damage short of deadly force, unless it escalates to fearing for your life. But Texas, you can use deadly force. Also what sucks is Colorado isn’t a stand...
@REM, I would probably add on that it’s also State specific on laws in protecting your property. In almost all states using deadly force to protect your property is illegal, except in Texas.
Be sure that they aren’t just attached to the wheel spokes but the center as well. You have to really punch the center and hear that snap. If the center isn’t super secure, then the spoke clips may not be secure enough to hold it down. Sometimes you really have to hit the center hard to hear...
Those are the best tire. It’s in my list when these Goodyears are done.
I would ask the place where you got them. My tires on my F350 (about the same weight as Tesla CT) are 80 in the rear, 65 in front. Generally you follow the car manufacturers rating. I would probably stick with 50 unless...
So one thing I noticed with this update is the charging % is 1-2% higher than I set. I set my charging to 60% for daily driver. It used to charge and stay between 57-60%… average is sitting around 58/59%. After this update it’s at 61-62% consistently.
I'm all over this... I have no place for my sunglasses because I put a safe in the center console and my glove compartment has hard drives and other very important nick nacks. I can actually use this. In fact just the other day, I was looking up there and thought "Why didn't Tesla put one in...
Yep... it's pure cowardice. Funny how they won't do that when the owner is around. Its funny because that same idiot would go cry if we keyed their 2007 Subaru ("? waaaa I cant afford a new paint job").
This is all a product of the social networking echo chamber. They hear and see something...
Nah... not the altitude... it's the Californian's moving in. It got too expensive in California, so they are coming over here to spread some love (and butt).
This isn't mine... it's from some dude named Ryan on Facebook. This is just amazingly cool. Sentry mode picks up a lot of stuff and sometimes is nice. Watch the video. The guy left a present on the CT owner's tire.
Yeah I don’t know about titling, but my accountant made clear right before I bought it that the purchase agreement/bill of sale must have my company’s name as the purchaser. Tesla said they would register it in the same name as the purchaser. So we left it at that.
I guess you could jump...
I did! Getting the full $12,500 ($7500 + $5k CO). Oh… and the Feds give a credit for installing EV chargers too ?
Yes, I registered the truck in my company’s name.
I got the $7500. ? Claimed it under my s-corp… got the $7500 because there is no income or MSRP on EV trucks for businesses. Passed straight through as a credit to my personals on my K1.
It’s sad you have to use loop holes to get it… but I got it.
Do a search on that in the forums. I have a how to fix that. I had it too and it was awful. But you can fix it without towels. It’s exactly as I posted above… silicon spray and reseating.
I had a couple. You can usually find them yourself by pressing on the locations that you hear them. Mine have been from the plastic clips the hold pieces into place. In nearly all of them, I pulled the piece out, sprayed silicon spray and reseated the piece and the squeak was gone. I now have 0.
