I got a mobile service appointment to address a small repair and they indicated they were also bringing the covers - but they changed the appointment date and then indicated the "wheel covers were not part of the original appointment" (fortunately I had taken a screenshot to prove otherwise)...
The Tesla shop got re-stocked today so I placed a single order to burn up the entire amount - my order came to $2551.00 after tax and of course the voucher was for $2500. After applying the voucher I was expecting to pay the additional $51 that I went over - only to find my order came to $2310...
I used a 2TB Sandisk SSD drive and it didn't work at first - spent a few minutes messing around and after trying some different cables, it works perfectly.
anyone reading this who did not get their wheels on delivery but got the vague email on July 19 that said "your vehicle is in the queue to receive wheel covers" - actually gotten theirs yet?
I've read about the min storage size of the USB stick in the glove box re: sentry and general recording (64GB), but is there a maximum size for an external drive? The CT comes with a 128GB stick - was thinking about using a 4TB portable SSD Drive. Any thoughts...
This app looks interesting (impressive, actually) - but at $149 / annually it's pricy for an app - especially when it would seem like Tesla would bake this functionality into their own app at some point.
Couldn't wait on Tesla's roof racks so ordered these from CyberTruckCo - my hang glider is 17.9 feet long and fits perfectly on the mounting points. Also have a 1UP rack for the mountain bike - all ready for the weekend!

I like your suggestion - I've seen one that offers something similar to your drawing.
I ordered / installed the solution from CyberTruck Co - great design but I'm trying to get a level straight line across all 4 - their lower 3 are level but the 4th (above the cab) is a few inches shorter - so...
Not sure I could find that - is that's what is detailed here?

They are not the same length, because only 1 side gets tight when I sit on the tailgate. Yes, level and open - 1 of these is clearly a bit longer than the other.
Watch this video - when the tailgate is down, one side is tight while the other has slack - anyone else's do this? I have an upcoming service visit scheduled to deal with a sticky Tonneau cover and was going to include this, unless it's normal for reasons I don't understand?
Just got an aftermarket set of racks - I need to remove the flap that covers the mounting points but want to make sure I don’t break them - anyone done this / got advice before I get started?
