  1. CYBERTRUCK hate by state [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Jackson NJ. Have gotten around 5 fingers coming up on a year of ownership.
  2. Recall: exterior trim / body panel detaching issue (46,096 Cybertrucks affected)

Okay, update to my tiny rant above. After the SC said I could order the lightbar, I asked for them to show me the link to the shop where I could order it. They came back and apologized and said they could order it for me and install it. So that's awesome. That's happening next Friday. Weirdly...
  3. Recall: exterior trim / body panel detaching issue (46,096 Cybertrucks affected)

Was just coming back here to post the same. I'm in NJ and have gone through the same thing as you. Keep opening service tickets and adding in the light bar install. They keep coming back and saying it's not available yet. I told them others are having the SC order the light bar. They told me I...
  4. Storing a Cybertruck for months - ok to not leave plugged in?

Over 110v how long will it take to charge 20-80%? That's my point. Just leave it plugged in.
  5. Storing a Cybertruck for months - ok to not leave plugged in?

Ideally leave it 50% plugged in. To move the charge % on 110v would take days anyway. So why not just set it once and forget it.
  6. First Jerry rig everything, now mark rober 🧐

Both videos are purely for entertainment/making money. If you read anything more into that, you are mistaken. There is no doubt that Lidar can do things camera vision alone can't. No one can argue that. At the end of the day, which car/system would your prefer to have right now? At some point in...
  7. Stiff front suspension under acceleration

This was again confirmed with OOSs latest YT video. It’s exactly the same symptom I have on my beast. Kyle also mentioned a recall for all beasts that I wasn’t aware of. I just asked my service center about it. Waiting to hear back.
  8. Got my Tesla lightbar - Not what you think!

I've tried this twice with 2 difference service centers and no dice for me. Eatontown NJ and Princeton NJ. I guess I can try a 3rd?
  9. Got my Tesla lightbar - Not what you think!

Even though I have my wheel covers, I do like the hub covers. I was using 3D printed ones until my wheel covers came in. The 2 shortfalls of the wheel covers are that they are susceptible to curb rash and cover the valve stem. Hub covers don't have either issue.
  10. Got my Tesla lightbar - Not what you think!

Received my beast on 6/1. Still nothing. I have tried opening tickets in multiple service centers and they both told me they don't have the parts yet.... I did get my wheel covers like 2 months ago.
  11. Drag strip track day 1/8 mile times -- need to vent…

If you have beast, at a full stop in Beast mode, hold the brake with your left foot first, then push the accelerator to the floor. It will drop the front suspension and stiffen the rear. Not sure about a boost in acceleration but the cheetah stance most likely makes a difference. Even if it...
  12. Drag strip track day 1/8 mile times -- need to vent…

At some point I'll post my Blog/Rant titled "Making Noise". Basically conceding that my EV will always lose in one and only 1 category, and I'm okay with that.
  13. Tire Rotation - how you getting it done?

Harbor Freight sells a jack called the badlands. It's bad ass. And it lifts the Cybertruck no issue at all. I do a 5 tire rotation with this jack every 4500 - 5k miles. Happy with my wear so far.
  14. Mirror Delete: 100% Cybertruck Steel [TESBROS]

Signed up on the website. What's the cost?
  15. Free Cyber Wheel Caps from Tesla

The crappy part of the full size tesla wheel covers is that they are susceptible to curb rash as well as having to remove them to add air to your tires.
  16. Warning: Do not trust MyQ

I disabled auto close a long time ago for that reason. Auto open is fine but no chance I'm risking their crappy software with the decision to close. MyQ's crappy software, not Tesla.
