Looks good... I'm gonna try this! On another note what is the tray (between cup holder and armrest)? Seeming holding a vape or soldering Iron or possibly a 3d printer pen. I need one of those!
Waymos are reporting less accidents per mile driven than humans. Unfortunately we may never know the actual rate with Tesla as they are opaque with their data. I have doubts Tesla will pull it off without LIDAR, but time will tell.
This does look promising. Still makes me wonder why they insist on Fins, unless they did some sort of aero testing and it helps, just seems "XTRA". I'll be interested to see some IRL pics
I have yet to see an acceptable treatment of the rear end in these body kits. I honestly think the only acceptable option would be a complete bumper facia replacement.
Looks like we may have additional issues with the current android app. I was able to get it working by clearing data, rebooting and re-setup. But, its eating battery pretty badly and this is with my car parked where sentry is NOT activated
Steel is an alloy (aluminum used like this is too) it can be fatigued. Stainless is Ferritic and one of the steels most prone. But other alloys are better
No all metal can fatigue but CA is hard and does not bend or deflect very much so it will start to develop micro cracks then big ones, steel does bend and flex a lot more. Proper engineering can remedy this. Just concerned that they properly tested (not just computer tested) after the aero...
Elon hater or not, You can't test ridiculous situations and consider ridiculous results to be valid. That being said metal fatigue with cast aluminum is a real thing and quite concerning. Which this video is not testing But jerry is quickly becoming a "click whore"
When I had my 18' M3 someone showed me a way to do this through the web browser. It was awkward and I really never used it. However, this was many many software versions ago, so....
Any experience if these work with any of the CSS adapters. I'm using mine once or twice a road trip, and would suck to loose 300+ KWh charging when the V2 SCs are pushing 90~120. Time is money
Picked mine up at service yesterday. They didn't install b/c I have my winter tire wheel set on. Service manager recommended spraying with WD40 before installing he said spray the mounting ring (I'm assuming the part in this post) on both sides with a thin coat of to better facilitate removal
