  1. Financing / Credit decision

They literally say this when you do the loan application on the app. It says something like the following. Are you sure you want to continue? Loans are for 60 days, 30 day rate guarantee. If it is past 60 days, you will have to reapply and it will involve another credit check.
  2. Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

That is way overestimating it. You would be in the 600-700 average max if you drive like a lunatic. Check out Ford Lightening videos on YouTube and forums talking about range and efficiency. That data is much better than the cherry picked data used on the forum to try to figure the range of the...
  3. Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

The majority of people that say they tow occasionally probably towed once in their life or are planning on towing something and never will. The Cybertruck will handle 90% of towing that people will do. Towing a boat to a local lake, towing a trailer for local jobs, and the occasional towing...
  4. Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

The Cybertruck would be a horrible long distance tower and a great short distance tower. All EV trucks have this issue right now. Until EV technology matures and we can get higher density batteries to get at least double the current range, this trucks need to be avoided by a certain segment of...
  5. Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

A 21 mile trip should never be used for any type of analysis. Just be patient and let more data be available from people. Also note that we are in winter right now, which is the absolute worse time for an EV. Someone could spend 15 minutes sitting in their car blasting the heater before driving...
  6. Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

FUD may have been a bad use there. It is someone that is taking data they don't understand to form a hypothesis.
  7. Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

This has not been the case for years. They were conservative with battery capacity in the beginning and then unlocked it. If you buy a new Tesla now, you won't have this experience.
  8. Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

If you are planning on towing long distances, the Cybertruck is not for you. It is a truck that is perfect for commuting, the occasional long trip without towing, or towing within a 75 mile range. Maybe one day the Cybertruck will fit your needs, but not now. Edit: I will add this. They have...
  9. Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

It won't be a PR nightmare and it won't be 200 miles on a full charge unless it is really cold and you are blasting the heater. Below is some real information from someone that their family has driven close to 300,000 miles on EV's in the last 6 years. 1. If Tesla states 340 miles, it will be...
  10. Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

Have you ever driven an EV? All you are doing here is providing inaccurate information based on a tiny sample. For everyone that drives Tesla's here, we know exactly how far the Cybertruck range will be based on Tesla's exaggerated numbers. We don't need someone that has never driven an EV to...
  11. Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

Can we stop this nonsense please. I could start my own range experiment at the top of a mountain and drive to the bottom. It would then show that Tesla's actually gain energy when driving and have unlimited range. These posts are nothing but FUD with people that have no experience driving EV's...
  12. Do any Non-Tesla employees have a scheduled delivery date?

It is extremely likely we would hear of it. If someone got a Cybertruck and doesn't own internet got one, their neighbors would be sharing it every where. Every truck that has been delivered can be linked back to a Tesla employee. Most of the people that put the earliest reservations are going...
  13. Do any Non-Tesla employees have a scheduled delivery date?

Try to find one person that took delivery that isn't a Tesla employee. Every truck so far on social media has been an employee. I am sure that if a regular customer got a Cybertruck, it would be all over social media or they would be in here letting us know.
  14. Do any Non-Tesla employees have a scheduled delivery date?

Better to have employees as beta testers. They are much less likely to complain or make negative reviews if something goes wrong. Everyone now is an "influencer" with the ability to have negative content on social media.
  15. 📊 Cybertruck SUBMITTED ORDERS Tracking List & Stats [Add Yours!]

I never had a referral or participated in the program. I have bought a used Model S, new Model 3, and new Model Y.
  16. VIN assigned in Tesla app

Alex is a Tesla employee. Let us know when a regular person gets one.
  17. Poll: Is 7500 lbs of towing capacity enough? (RWD CT)

In my particular area in the Central Valley in California, I would say 95% of people that have trucks here have never towed anything. On my block, there are 8 trucks and every single person uses them as a daily driver. Have never seen them ever tow anything, let alone transport anything that I...
  18. 85+ Cybertrucks spotted today 12/22 at Giga factory

Tesla needs to update my app with one of those VIN's.
  19. 2024 Tax credit question

It won't qualify since accessories are physically attached to the car. Once things like upgraded tires and even bottle openers are part of the vehicle it adds value above $79,900. If all of the options were things like Powershare and FSD, the truck would qualify.
  20. Don't Order Foundation Series

Great, it is a good deal for you and not everyone else. Glad it works out perfectly for you and not everyone else. You seem like a very important person and Tesla catered to your every need.
