Once you get it working, please post a review of how the CarPlay unit works for you on the Cybertruck. Some of 'em seem better than others from what I've seen, and probably none totally quirk-free.
Here's the two I got. The DC is 1000W, more than strong enough to run a 100% duty cycle air compressor (at 318W, double that for startup surge) that normally connects directly to a 12V battery. The converter's draw seems to relate more to what's being pulled from it than to it's maximum...
What I looked at from a quick google says Tesla uses mostly metric (including lug nuts on various models).
Some results also suggest that many American made cars use metric now - although that might be American assembled versions of cars originating from foreign companies, more than American...
Vinyl said to last 3 years, PPF said to last up to 8 and small scratches may be self-healing (fuse back together).
Vinyl was available in more colors, but PPF catching up.
No opinion myself, not planning to wrap. Stainless is fine as is IMO (and being more numerous, less conspicuous). I...
AFAIK, FSD maxes at 85 MPH, and IMO driving manually above 75 MPH gets tiring quickly for longer trips. Little road warrior left in me, unless some a-hole really pushes my last button, and then I'm not going to get crazy, just humiliate them. (not much that can out-accelerate a CB, and I'm still...
The availability issue is odd. The restrictions are because a light bar is NOT legal for on-road use, and many states require that it be covered on-road, and Tesla doesn't want to get involved in the legalities.
Depending on which revision of the service procedure, they may do more of the work...
Post in another thread says it has happened. And CTs being seen as controversial by some, it follows that given sufficient numbers of CTs with light bars, it would happen to them.
Want it, but mixed feelings until someone comes up with a more practical cover than blackout tape. Off-road would not be my idea of fun, perhaps a rare necessity, so the utility is limited for me, and not worth getting tickets for having it uncovered (depending on the state...and that small...
Part of it is that FSD sets wipers to auto (which makes sense, letting it deal with more). The other part may be that anything at all is interfering with the outward facing windshield cameras, even if it's not enough to disable FSD. That could include condensation within the enclosure between...
Curves are getting better, although a human familiar with a particular curve can sometimes hit it perfectly so it helps them along rather than feeling uncomfortable. I recall one curve where the arrow signs on the outside were always mangled, yet if one hit it right one came out of the curve...
I'd wonder about denatured alcohol, which is in theory ethanol with something unpleasant and toxic added so it can't be consumed. Oddly enough, bay rum aftershave could use otherwise non-denatured ethanol insofar as bay tree (different from "bay leaf" aka laurel) oil is toxic and considered a...
A CT won't please some rednecks because it's an EV, not diesel. And it won't please those on the left determined to treat anything as tainted because of Elon.
But mainly a CT is very distinctive, while the S, 3, X, Y aren't particularly (except the X with the doors open); there are other cars...
Neutral won't remove mineral deposits (calcium mostly) nor iron dust deposits (from brake rotors, railways, etc). CLR uses lactic acid and gluconic acid; vinegar removes water spots from glass because it contains acetic acid, etc. Barkeeper's Friend (both the abrasive powder, the less abrasive...
If it's potentially frozen, the manual says:
Note
In extremely cold weather or icy conditions, it is possible that your charge port latch may freeze in place. If this happens, you can thaw ice on the charge port latch by turning on the rear defrost or by enabling preconditioning using the...
Citrisurf is probably good, but IMO it's expensive.
It's roughly 10-15% citric acid by weight, the rest unlisted but probably mostly water.
Pure citric acid powder is relatively cheap. If you use distilled water (no sense killing some of the citric acid with water that has minerals in it), you...
