I updated and had no issues that are noticeable. Saw some improvements. For example, when backing out of my driveway, I was seeing some "ghost" vehicles behind me. Those are now gone.

I'd put it quieter than say a 5 series BMW but a little louder than a lexus or Mercedes. Lexus and Mercedes are tuned to be super quiet. If you could take away the tire noise, I'd so it would be a close race. But it's a truck...tire noise comes with the package. I don't know about noise...

I've only played around with my buddy's R1T. The sound system is amazing. I'm very happy with the CT sound system and I think it's even better than the R1T. I did not know there were 2 versions so I'm not sure which one I'm comparing. Based on timing, I bet it's Meridian.
