Have you gotten a speeding ticket in FSD?

Absolute disappeared a while ago for FSD. It still works for the Cruise Control. Not a fan of % at all. In general I find the velocity control of both FSD and Cruise Control to be annoying; and dangerous in the case of FSD.

    POLL: FSD usage Poll

This is also the #1 way to get a red strike - exceed the "max speed" set by even 1 mph, and the robot AI gets pissed off. It is easy to exceed this speed with the great acceleration of the CT.

    Range Extender Officially Cancelled!

Tesla, Ford, and Rivian are essentially selling the same volume now. What is needed are more people to buy electric trucks. It is great that there are choices. As for extended range.... turns out I don't really need it. And Tesla figured that out.

Power Draw Question / 3 hp motor not turning

Interesting. Since the diagrams for 110v and 230v are the same (?), this means I just put double the voltage on the 1 line in, and it should work.... My 240v source is single phase also. I see why you recommend the phone call. We have 8,000 feet of rock to cut, and blowing the motor would put a...

Power Draw Question / 3 hp motor not turning

This is the DX 350-N 1300, "52918", which is the 120v 60hz version. Looks like the 56915 motor and the 5885 wires and recepticle.

Power Draw Question / 3 hp motor not turning

TY. I actually understand your explanation and appreciate that you made this clear; I feared it was something complicated like this, and it makes sense. I need another solution, rather than just moving wires around...)

Cybertruck FSD driving like a drunk teen lately

    1) CT conformity to staying in the lane is proportional to speed. It works great at 45 mph, but by 75 mph it is poor. It runs me off the road once a mile at these speeds, either to the left or the right. 2) Conformity to speed limit signs is random. Sometimes is blows through a 35 mph sign at...

Power Draw Question / 3 hp motor not turning

Hi. I am stuck in the boondocks for a few weeks, and trying to figure out how to turn my 3 hp rock saw from my Tesla outlets. Nothing works, and I am not sure if anything will, but if there is any advice, please step forward…) Saw motor: single phase, 3400 rpm, 120v, 60hz, 15-amp continuous...

    Anyone drive through Mexico?

Looks like 32 NAC chargers in the entire country, 20 of which are destination chargers. I always carried 10 gallons of extra gasoline when I drove there, so maybe you want to pack some energizer batteries or something. )

    Anyone drive through Mexico?

How are you going to charge it? Are you doing a drive thru to Guatemala? I have been to every gas station in Mexico, except for the center of Mexico City. There are about 200 beaches called "Playa Azul", and they are all great. It takes 4wd and muddy rutted roads to get to many of them on the...

Is State Farm Insurance punishing Tesla Owners?

My S3 goes 155 mph, my AMG does 220. Not sure how much I want to advertise this to my insurance company. The real solution here is for insurance companies to train us how to drive, according to their parameters - a proper carrot-and-stick approach. I suspect they want these monitoring devices...

Why is FSD not staying centered? CALIBRATION? Am I alone with this issue???

CT does not drive in the center of the lane at highway speeds. Seems to do pretty good below 45 mph, unless the wind is blowing. On the highway, it rides right of center while in the right lane, and left of center in the left lane. It travels outside of the lane repeatedly, often driving...

What speed disengages FSD for current drive?

I get the strike when it goes over the limit set by me (not the speed limit). If I accelerate 1 mph past this limit, I get the red, the wiggly steering wheel, I then get the disengage, the video is sent to Tesla, and I get the strike. All I am trying to accomplish is to travel at a speed I set...
