  1. Cybertruck seen entering Oceano Dunes Park

We drove our van onto the beach there in the packed sand area, not the dunes. It weighs 8500 lbs with 235/70-16 tires which aren’t exactly fat. I didn’t air down either. Obviously there are portions of Ocean aka Pismo which are much more challenging.
  2. Cybertruck sighting with tonneau closed and bed lights on - 11/11/23 (@ Santa Cruz, CA)

Im a Westsider, that location looks really familiar but I can’t put my finger on it. By the way, I did see a CT heading north on 17 around Vine Hill Rd a few weeks ago; it was dusk and with the lights on it looked very cool.
  3. First Cybertrucks in Tesla stores now! @ San Diego & San Jose first

Santana Row is only 40 minutes from my house. I think I’ll check it out in a few days. I am so retail-ignorant though … will it be busy before Thanksgiving? I went there a few years ago in our big van and learned the hard way that I had to park across the street at Valley Fair. And waiting for...
  4. New Cybertruck @ Hollister Hills Stairs Steps climbing video

I’ve driven up that obstacle at HH, though it was almost 30 years ago. In my ā€œtriple lockedā€ 80 Series Land Cruiser which had no modern electronic traction tech but in low range had a fully locked center diff and selectable rear or rear+front locking differentials. Still considered one of the...
  5. Cybertruck is in NYC @ Lincoln Center - 11/10/23

If those lower sills are beefy enough to serve as rock sliders,, that could also function as a ā€œkick outā€ to protect the fenders. A very nice detail that helps mitigate the height of the bed walls up by the C pillar.
  6. Fit and Finish Concerns — STILL

I was looking at some old photos of mine and found a picture of my new 1981 Pontiac, when it was just a few days off the dealer lot. And it was not a cheap model. The panel gaps on that car make anything we’ve seen on the CT look tiny. I’m not saying that malaise era GM quality is a good...
  7. 2024 Cybertruck Official Specs Leaked?! 😱 - Udated With Compare/Analysis

New guy here, first post. I’ve owned a Toyota T100 which was ā€œnot quite full-sizeā€ and learned that unique dimensions can add value - that truck had a real bed and load capacity, plus a usefully large interior and conveniently smaller exterior dimensions. And it didn’t sell well :). I now own a...
