About 1/2 to a full inch. It was off putting at first, but I got used to the new height in a few days. You can compensate for the height loss by angling it back up. you do get to see more of the led strip if you sit high with the lowered profile

It doesn’t void the warranty! It’s the same as if you had to replace a damaged screen. Just a few screws is all it takes! I'm new to modifications so i was pretty scared of messing something up, but the video instructions are easy to follow and the process was pretty simple.

I live in Orlando Fl, have had my windshield tinted for 7 months now and have no problems. I also highly recommend it as I immediately noticed a reduction in heat when driving.
