Put out an APB - whoever really owns the car probably wants it back. But it will have a new plate on it after a short chase with the home owner and being witnessed in a crime.

License plate won't do much in criminal court. You can find who it's registered to, but if there's 3 or 5 adults at that address, they all plead the 5th, government has to prove who the driver and thief were. Also, good chance it's stolen/has stolen plates on it.

You forgot that they're not actively cooled also. DCFC speed starts to throttle after repeated stops, unless it's really cold out. But, yeah, wind drag is also huge. I tuck under the windshield all day and barely get better than 200wh/mile at 70MPH. There's an optimal travel speed for every EV...

1:45AM, they were probably going 110+MPH into that turn before flying off into the culvert. Opening scraps of what was once doors wasn't really a concern for what was left of the driver after impact.

Seems like they did it on purpose - they didn't make contact and move back over, they hit you and kept pushing! Ironic, if you had just stayed in your lane, you'd have done a perfect pit maneuver on their little van and sent them sideways/rolling. You may have saved their stupid lives.

I doubt they'll charge extra for interior upgrades. It's already at the edge of qualifying for the $7,500 IRA instant rebate. Can't imagine them shipping with a stripped down audio system, and can you even strip down the interior anymore than it already is :D
