That's unfortunate, yeah. It's possible they changed the glass at some point. I got my AWD a little over a year ago, it's in the 10,500 VIN range, and it has no problem with passing the signal through.
Same, I had it there until the mount arrived. No issues at all with connectivity.
I recently took advantage of the $299 deal for the Starlink Mini, and decided to mount it to the inside of the Cybertruck’s panoramic roof glass. It's super clean, no wire visible (except a short bit between the dish and the trim) and fits beautifully under the OEM sunshade.
After a little...
Just passed the 1 year mark on my Foundation AWD last week, I've had no service issues with it at all. Even for the recalls (wiper motor, pedal rivet, etc.), none had actually caused me any issues.
It's by far the most fun vehicle to drive I've ever owned, I still smile every day I walk into my...
It's had it for many months, but not as part of FSD. When you are slowly passing spaces in a parking lot, it highlights empty spaces that you can select and choose to autopark in. The CT will back into the space you select autonomously.
Some current limitations are that it only works with...
I've had mine for 10 months in Atlanta, never had a negative reaction. Most people have tons of questions or want to take pictures with it, and kids go nuts over it.
I have 7,560 miles on my AWD (picked it up in early May 2024), and my lifetime average is 369 Wh/mi. I'm in Atlanta, very few cold days here, and most of my miles are around the suburbs with occasional short road trips. I would be willing to bet only 10-15% of my miles are at highway speeds +70mph
I requested my tire rotation service on Monday through the Tesla app, got notified instantly that a mobile tech was available Wednesday morning. I confirmed the time slot and the tech showed up to my house yesterday and rotated the tires in my driveway. Flawless service, he was especially...
Yes, charging it to 100% and keeping it there for several days is no problem at all. It's just something you don't want to do all the time, but don't be afraid to do it when you think you might need it.
My PowerShare has kicked in several times since I got it last May, it's fantastic.
No regrets at all, it's a fantastic vehicle. The Cybertruck is my first EV, so I had a bit of learning to do, but honestly it's spoiled me for other cars. Steer-by-wire is a game changer, it makes driving my wife's Honda CR-V feel ridiculous.
@ill1cit I may have done a thing.
Thanks for all the info, I'm loving it! Went together super easy, I just had to get some new bolts. I took my Not-a-Flamethrower out to my fire pit to drain the propane tank, I don't want to drive around with a bomb in my frunk ??
The frunk light above hits it...
