When did you get your tents? The ones that burst? Are they the “v2” which are the second manufacturing batch and became available around Feb this year (they have a different black accessory bag + the feet under the platform do not lock in, just unfold). That’s what I have and have yet to fully...
I had a jeep wrangler as well, and the windshield had to be cleaned up thoroughly at every gas stop during a roadtrip. The absolute opposite of the Cybertruck.
I did a few long highway trips, and I’m stunned to see that basically zero bug get smashed on the windshield. It’s all happening on the frunk, so there’s no disturbance to visibility (and the front cam mounted in the windshield which stays clean and that’s obviously good for FSD). My beloved...
I’m sure it’s acceptable to a lot of scenarios, but it’s high in comparison to similar size fridges that would run on DC on less than 0.3 kWh per day, so about twice as efficient. Not that your fridge is not efficient, but we’re talking DC -> AC -> DC in the loop with the DC->AC converter of the...
Currently this fridge only works with AC power
That’s a showstopper for me. As stated above, very inefficient, going to be a battery drain to keep the AC outlets on. This needs a DC input (12/24) and let people power it with a power station in the mix.
Looking great otherwise. Very tight...
Always useful when you post an issue to specify your VIN number. Some issues have been resolved at certain production milestones. This I believe was discovered and taken care of in June last year as mentioned above, so shouldn’t be an issue for anyone with VIN higher than 19-20k if I recall...
1Ups are the best. I’ve had a set like this for years to carry my specialized on my Jeep. Since the cybertruck bed is big enough to hold the bike, I haven’t used the 1up at all.
My bike fits flat with gate closed if I set it in diagonal in the bed, I also noticed I could put two bikes side by...
Thank you so much @mongo!
Didn’t know about these diagrams. I can’t see the reference on it to the actual bolt. But maybe because I’m on mobile and it doesn’t work that way. In any case, thank you. I took that info to order a countersink flat head bolt that should match the pattern and may work...
Which dealer did you sell it to? That seems so high when there’s no delay at all to get a new one. Doesn’t seem to make any sense. You scored!! Congrats!
Anyone with the details of the bolts in place? thread type mostly?
I'm looking for some flat countersunk head equivalents to try to mount some L-tracks flat on the bed (along bottom of ridges) using the D-ring existing mounting points.
Anyone done that yet?
I believe when you say it's work in progress ;) I'm not sure I understand exactly what your final product looks like besides the overall shape/approach. Good luck! And show us the end result when it's there... or in a more advanced phase. I'm sure there will be a lot to learn from your journey.
Next time you camp, do you mind measuring the exact height available under the tent? I'm guessing it's about 14.5 inches, but would like to understand what we're dealing with exactly so I can think through my drawers situation.
Does service installs every CyberTent? I thought you would just be receiving the package and it's a DIY thing. Or is that an option when taking delivery? Great to know that this upgrade would be part of the installation.
Now looking more interesting. Indeed the best integration out there so far.
Thanks for the feedback @mark555055c.
'Quick release things' for the aero piece? since when did they start to install these? What does that look like and can I get them from Tesla?
Here's how my aero attachment looks like. I think that's the old school which is apparently quite annoying to...
Has anyone found a solution to mount a Rotopax on the L-track?
I'm trying to work out a solution using something like this L-Track Double Lug Threaded Stud Nut + a Z bracket like this Heavy Duty Steel Black Z Brackets to get the Rotopax to stand out of the L-track a bit so it can stand vertical...
