To any current owners: Did this ever come to fruition? I was planning on using it too.lol
Man!!! Thatās super cool!
If I had a mod with that much sweat/cash involved, Iād get rear-ended in 5⦠4⦠3⦠?
my hatās definitely off to him though!
Sadly I missed that period. By the time I had a Chevelle in High School in the 80ās, one of the teachers told me I had to wrap a coat around my rifle when it was laying in the back seat during deer season. Apparently another teacher saw it and was āconcernedā.lol

Fed LE. I get paid to be prepared for others that act up. That includes maintaining my issued equipment, plus authorized additional equipment. Large outfit without personal take-homes.
When called in I show up with āwhat I broughtā.lol
That having been saidā Iām highly pro-2A and have...
That might end up being a workable option.
Iām just salty over losing the sail pillars because they were ideally located in my opinion. Step out, grab carbine from light cover (vehicle body and/or door). Whereas frunk makes you go around to the nose of the vehicle.
The sail pillars were screaming āOut of view carbine storageā. I know I could keep some in the frunk, but Iāll probably be dropping groceries there.
Unless Iām in uniform or a marked unit, some folks probably get the vapors when you pop open a hatch with long guns mounted in it.lol
A big +1 for āOh Shitā handles. Iām certainly used to having them, and definitely use them.
If Iām moving into an off-road vehicle with good torque, and lots of suspension travel with an expectation of off-road excitement?!?!?
Duh!
Iām still bemoaning the potential fate of the sail pillars, and Iām waiting to verify theyāre truly gone.?
If so- Iāll be rejuggling the entire potential loadout to see where everything logically lands. Iāll be following closely to see what other folks come up with!
Sometimes, some of us identify as āInebriated Americansā, and in that time frame we flat out regurgitate random concerns. They can be both well reasoned, and sometimes⦠odd. Either way, it can (more often than notā with introspection) lead to illuminating discussions/revelationsā¦.

I guess my truck will come from PA even though itāll be registered in WV.
We have a cabal of car dealers here who managed to lock Tesla out of the state through ālobbyingā.
Iām hoping other manuās step up. I was thinking the ācorrectā GY MT/R w/Kās because of the sidewall molding that matches the wheel covers, but Iām torn on those covers too.lol Iād probably ruin/lose them pretty quick. I live in a pretty rural area and see mud frequently.
I like the ālookā...
LORD I HOPE!!!
My truck was tuned and slightly quick for a behemoth, but busted u-joints (too much axle hop I think) and expensive tires eased me out of the throttle a little.
I am kinda concerned about the life/cost of the MT/Rās (āw/Kevlarā) vs. the Nitto Trail Grapplers I used to...
Half the time, thatās WITH planning. Without cloning myself itād be rough.lol
When I retire Iāll slow down, maybe. Itāll be hard to unlearn the habit.
