I've been planning to ask the same thing. While I appreciate the VIN production thread it doesn't really give us great info on how assignments are moving. We end up having to constantly ask people that get VINs when they ordered.
Your best bet is to assume you'll hold it for a year. If you decide you don't want it for any reason, you'll probably do best renting it on turo full time and then selling it at the 1 year mark and using the proceeds to buy your forever CT with your 2nd reservation #.
I ordered 2 on day 1 (same email). Got the invite for the 1st and ordered AWD FS Dec 23. Haven't gotten an invite for the 2nd reservation (which was actually the earlier one - they were just a few minutes apart). I wish I had known to use 2 email addresses because I want the Cyberbeast but...
OP, you really don't need to justify anything to anyone or explain why your pricing makes sense. The correct price you should charge is the highest price you can get 1 person to pay, that's literally the only justification for the price necessary.
Free markets are great
Surprised Tesla is still quoting Jan-Mar.
We have 900 orders on this site and 8 deliveries so far yet they are saying they can fill a brand new order in the next 10 weeks?
I've seen conflicting info about the resale restriction clause. Supposedly it went away and then came back. Did any of your paperwork have the clause that doesn't let you resell the trick for a year?
Great data point. I think it would be reasonable to assume our list is about 10% of orders.
I don't believe that Tesla will really get all the AWD's ordered so far delivered by end of March.
Just further proof that Tesla really doesn't care for their customers. To effectively force early reservation holders to pay for an obscenely expensive feature (if they want the CT in a reasonable time, which of course they do, that's why they ordered first day) that you know you are not in any...
Thanks for that. I too have 2 reservations and got the invite on the 1st but not the 2nd. Many people that have reservation numbers greater than my 2nd have gotten an invite so I was wondering why I didn't get my 2nd invite. This explains it.
I did AWD for my 1st because I want to get it ASAP...
I'm curious what you all think is the total orders placed so far? In other words, what percentage of total CT submitted orders have inputted their data into this thread? We have about 500 entries, does that reflect 5%, 10%, 25%, 50% of all the real world orders? I get its just a guess but what's...
