Even if you point to them that it's much more likely to happen on an ICE vehicle, they'll either ignore it or say, "But those fires can be put out"...I just stopped trying. "You aren't worried you'll burn your house down"...I just change the subject.
The only thing I could find where Elon said a specific model would be first is the quad motor.
"Initial production will be 4 motor variant, with independent, ultra fast [sic] response torque control of each wheel.”
I would guess they would have had to configure it prior to getting an expected date. If the configurator opened to anyone, I think we'd see it. I doubt some random doctor is getting a date while no influencers have, yet.
I've seen on multiple forums that someone knows someone that states...
The new model 3 will not have stalks. No Teslas will in the future.
Stalkless Teslas have everything you are looking for...there's a simple swipe up and down that is almost 2 inches wide that takes up the entire left edge of the screen, there are buttons, sounds play when you change gears, the...
That's quite a leap. There are for sure Tesla haters on TMC who have been disillusioned by their problematic experience and maybe some here who have grown tired of the wait or unhappy with the lack of information, but;
1. Assuming that their post in a fringe message board with maybe 20-30...
I got those heights from Ford, but I'm 6'3 and my F150 Platinum was taller than me. I acknowledged that part of that is tires and suspension, but I was only criticizing the line drawn. We know the Raptor sits up higher, so the blue line is wrong...that's it. It would make a negligible difference...
But it changes the lines in your picture. You are drawing the line base on the CT in the front, which even if your head is the same distance from the roof, it would be higher in a side-by-side comparison in the F150, because it's taller. It's not changing a ton, but your lines aren't an accurate...
But it's shorter than an F150 Raptor as I just illustrated, even factoring in depth (but it looks like Elon is right up against it). Unless you think it goes from what looks like a higher height from normal driving and can add 6", it will certainly be shorter. And being shorter isn't a massive...
Why would the eyes be at the same spot?
We know the CT is lower to the ground than the F150, but typically have more interior height/space than an ICE vehicle due to not having the transmission, exhaust, etc.
If the assumption is that they are the same, then you get substantially less head...
I think there's enough evidence that the hood/dash combo won't provide much, if any, better view than just a hood in typical trucks.
The sitting lower to the ground point is accurate and there is a lot of glass, but it does appear the pillars are much larger than most vehicles, specifically...
