In ICE vehicles, just like EVs, the primary combustion sources immediately after a crash is break fluid and wiring. These burn in any vehicle no matter what with enough heat.
This worse one didn't catch fire and four survived. Seems batteries are better and not really to fear. The fear should be in a regular crash, and a fire in general. Which happens to all vehicles...

Hit wall then tree, wonder if DUI or reckless.
Bystander pulled the only survivor out, three others died.
Off topic question, what truck is this with the hood open with the grill, as if an EV Frunk?
It's not about the range. Obviously the Lightning is less range than Cybertruck but less $/range.
The Rivian is a non dealership and provides a lower cost per range.
Tesla should at least beat Rivian.
That would mean a price of under $76k without increasing range.
You said they are not comparable. I asked for what your evidence was that proved your point that they weren't comparable. You then said it's all about the looks.
I don't get why you commented on a post about value when your whole point is looks.
If you're whole argument is based on looks alone then you're not understanding my post. In which case pay whatever you want on looks. Don't get me wrong, I like the CT looks. But my post is about $/mile range.
If you don't want to talk about that then have a good day.
I removed the WT since I think those can only be bought with fleet.
Otherwise all of those are AWD. The only thing the CT has over those others is 4 wheel steering which is not available as add-ons. Otherwise they are all similar.
The Hummer EV truck with all wheel steering is last on the list...
I've never said I want the Cybertruck to fail. I want the Cybertruck to make sales. Reducing price will increase sales. It has high enough margin to reduce price.
There's been many reports of new customers able to configure non-founders series now. Eating through all the reservation holders...
Knowing his customer base, he would actually.
Tesla's margin is higher than many know. They could afford to reduce prices, which is necessary. Alienating one's customers is not.
