I was going to mention that this would likely happen but didn't want to burst your bubble. I have an escort 360 with the suction cup that keeps falling off the windshield in hot weather and have been looking for a better alternative. I finally gave this a shot the other day and happy with it so far.
Yeah, mine are toast after about 20,000 miles. I ordered the Michelin LTX Platinum's from costco today and will have them installed at the end of the month. The aero covers are a hassle if you go off road, just get center caps and call it a day.
Same issue here! I actually took a picture and a video the other day and have been meaning to post it. I was thinking that it was because the driver side arm was in a little closer. As you can see, it touches the rubber at the bottom of the windshield. Is this normal, are other trucks the same...
Here's a link to the thread. If you go through both pages you'll see I made an adjustment to the install, as well as links to the case & cord. Cheers

I went with a custom install on the dash that's low profile. You can find the thread with a quick search. Here's a couple of photos. Super happy with this set up and it's rock solid. Also chose this because I have a rooftop tent so installing to the inner glass wasn't an option.
Personally I would only get a 110 plug in for a designated CT inflator. The outlet is right there in the bed. Last thing I want to deal with is a dead battery on an inflator. TC-BL 😎
Keep the updates coming! I run two sets of wheels. The duratrac wranglers have been great through the winter. The original good years that came on the truck were pretty much toast after 30,000 km. I'm thinking these will be a better option than the stock all terrains.
Not super keen on dropping over $500 for an off-road light bar. Anyone running a 12 volt? Can you tap into the 48 volt wire at the top of the windshield, add some sort of converter and run a basic 50" light bar?
Thanks
Road trip to Spokane last weekend to compete in a submission grappling tournament. Stayed the night at Coulee city campground where I could charge and test out my new rooftop tent.
This isn't a one size fits all, right or wrong debate. Just a discussion on a possible alternative to carrying an inflated full size spare in the bed. I carry plugs, patches & a compressor at all times but might be tempted by an inflatable pizza cutter if it was a viable option. The Porsche one...
You inflate it when needed. Older porsches have this in the frunk. It's a narrow inflatable spare for when you get a flat that can't be fixed with a plug or if you damage the rim. I've also thought about having a narrow pizza cutter spare just to get you out of trouble if needed. It would take...
Yes it does! I was quite surprised. And I've put it to the test several times now...it doesn't budge!!!
