  1. Closeups!! Dual Motor Cybertruck shows frunk open, alcantara headliner, perforated seats, rectangular steering wheel, VIN # (8/31 pics)

A friend in high school had a Porsche 914, and his girlfriend called it a frunk. I graduated HS in 1980. For what it's worth, the 914 front trunk was really big for the size of the car.
  2. So the Cybertruck fits in a garage (at under 19ft long)... But was the size reduction worth it for you?

Nope, I wanted a longer bed. I wanted the a six seater also, but I knew that was going to be a problem with the center screen (passenger airbag issues). A longer bed was very doable, and worth more to me than being able to put it in a "average" garage. Its not a show stopper, just something...
  3. Elon: Cybertruck will not have door handles!

I highly suspect a touch sensor, with a door popper. App won't be needed to get in the truck. All my vehicles right now have touch sensors for the locks, I don't see it as a major jump to a electric door popper.
  4. Plaid Cybertruck Is A Thing Says Musk!

  6. Regenerative braking while hill climbing?

With enough additional mass loaded at the top of a big hill, a rubber band powered truck will run forever. The truck in the article is not so much "regenerative" as it is converting the potential energy of the load of rocks into electricity used to get back up the hill, empty.
  7. Cybertruck wouldn't be approved for sale in Europe (in current form)

That article was written before the total weight was released. If it stays the weight that Tesla told California, it will be classified as an N2 vehicle in the EU. N2 vehicles are exempt from the M1-N1 pedestrian/cyclist impact standards.
  8. Tesla Cybertruck GVWR Weight Will Exceed 8,500 lbs and be Classified as Medium-Duty Pickup

This would put it in the N2 EU vehicle class. That would make all the news stories about not being able to sell it in europe most likely wrong.
