Are you referring to the silver part on top or the black parts underneath? It looks like the bumper would attach to the silver part but I'm not sure.

Exactly! It's not that the Y can't do it, it obviously can, but a CT will be SO MUCH better, tougher, no worries about paint, potholes or deep snow. Not to mention all the real off road trails that the Y can't (or shouldn't) access...

This will completely depend on where and when you are traveling. California has LOTS of chargers, making it fairly easy with plenty of V3 chargers. Other states are may not be so lucky. The "when" matters because if the SCs are fairly empty, it's easy to take up 3-4 stalls without causing...
