I have a back hitch plow now for my Y that will work for the rest of this year (our snow season is over after March in AZ)
I I know there will be some front hitch options coming (Unplugged Performance for one) but those probably won't be available till after this winter for me. I'm currently...
That helps, Thanks!
Do we know which All Terrains they are shipping with? The Goodyear Wrangler Territory RTs? I was kinda hoping one that was 3peak winter rated as I will be plowing snow with mine...
Just ordered... I ordered so fast I didn't see a selection for the 4 tire options?? Was there a default selection?? I wanted the All Terrains but I didn't pick one...
I'm surprised 25% are ordering it.
To me, it REALLY proves people want more range.... because it's a pretty bad deal cost wise not to mention screwing up the functionality of the bed.
I really wanted TRI w 500 Miles. I use my Y like a truck already. Towing, Plowing Snow, 50K miles a year...
If roughly 25% of people are buying the Range Extender what does that tell you?
It tells me people REALLY want more range. And most of the people with orders are long-time Tesla owners who understand range needs. How high would that number be if it was built in instead?
IMO, the RE is a poor...
Mine is fairly early... I might have gotten an invite already but I'm in AZ not CA or TX.
Ideally, they call my # the instant you can get the regular Dual and can qualify for the tax credit
My situation:
Still owe 30K on a PY with 146K miles. Obviously, will take a big hit if I sell or trade in.
I was considering keeping it, TUROing it (along with the CT) but I forgot to put it on Turo before it went past 130K miles which is their limit. So, that means hard to make extra $ to...
I'm gonna say NO.
Not without a real 500+ mile version. (And no, a range extender that butchers the bed doesn't count).
IF that ever happens, YES, definitely possible.
Hopefully EVERYONE gets a wrap so my SS looks totally unique. Lol
Black looks cool for a minute, then it's dirty and hot as hell, especially in AZ... so I'll pass.
Wait.. but why?
CyberTruck don't need no stinkin pad.
The best pad is no pad...
If it can take a bullet, it can take a bike tire.
OOOHHHHH it's to protect the BIKE. Now I get it.....
Exactly! It's not that the Y can't do it, it obviously can, but a CT will be SO MUCH better, tougher, no worries about paint, potholes or deep snow. Not to mention all the real off road trails that the Y can't (or shouldn't) access...
Still owe 36K...
Yea, I wouldn't mind keeping both, but it's only me so I can only drive one at a time.
YES, can't wait to Uber in the CT... will blow minds (at least for a year or two before they are as common as Ys now lol)
Yea, this is a tough one!
2021 PY with 140K miles prob 160 by the time I get my CT. I'll be underwater a bit due to high mileage. However..... I've also made over 75K on it Towing/Plowing Snow/Uber/Lyft etc. and gotten a LOT of tax write-off miles.
But, once I get the CT, I can't imagine...
This will completely depend on where and when you are traveling.
California has LOTS of chargers, making it fairly easy with plenty of V3 chargers. Other states are may not be so lucky.
The "when" matters because if the SCs are fairly empty, it's easy to take up 3-4 stalls without causing...
