After going all winter with getting air in the rear windows on the cybertruck, I finally spent some time and figured out how to fix it and wanted to share my findings with everyone!

I go over how I fixed it in this video but you basically have to remove the whole thing and either cover the contact points with felt tape or flock it

If anyone wants me to check their cybertrucks build date, hardware version etc send me the vin and I can check it in the EPC on my shop account I did just notice new part numbers for all the cybertruck doors so I think they refined the doors to fix the rattle issue people are having as well

I'm working on it right now by adding sound insulation to the dash area, will post videos once it's done

The issue is the other panels can’t actually fall off due to some fasteners but will get super loose and rattle, so most likely they will only replace upon customer complaint

Around the 70k vin range, my 74k vin has the new glue on the front, fenders, rear fender, sail but not on the doors or tailgate, not sure they have even fixed the doors and tailgate yet from factory

My cybertruck was repurchased due to all my panels having this issue but now tesla is using new glue so the panels that you will get replaced with will have new glue

Mice got to it, they should've used a more tough foam for sound insulation, I am planning on adding more sound insulation up there on my truck to see if it lessens the whistle noise

Mines in for the same thing, if they can't figure it out then maybe it would be worth putting my go pro under the frunk with my frunk plastic liner out so I can really hear what it is, if it really is the motor and there's no fix then maybe I will just add more sound isolation under the frunk area
