Giant Cybertruck silhouette starting to appear on GigaTexas factory facade

Humans have a large part of their brain devoted to finding patterns. Lots of times the patterns found are based more on imagination than fact. Just like finding animal shapes in passing clouds or Jebus burned into your toast. ?

Mid-gate Impossible? Best cab sleeping solution for one? - or kookiest idea yet?

You're right... those are some crude images. ;) Though you did get the direction of sleep right versus the original. You'd want your head to the rear for more headroom and so you could more easily get into the driver's seat, instead of having to flip yourself around.

What is your biggest Cybertruck question you'd like answered by Tesla before committing to purchase?

Nope. That could be one way, but while automotive and aerospace engineering have some things in common, they are fundamentally different. SpaceX typically steals the best and brightest directly out of undergrad and graduate engineering and aerospace programs, or directly from competitors and...

    Ford Ranger EV?

I've had two Ford Rangers 4x4s in the past, and they were excellent little trucks. A decent electric Ranger AWD with at least 300 mile range, would make me reconsider buying a CT, especially if the price were right.

CYBERTRUCK DELAY: HOW TESLA'S BIGGEST PROBLEM IS INDUSTRY-WIDE

My "guess" is that Ford faces the same battery sourcing problems. So there won't really be anywhere else to look for an electric truck.

    GM Hummer EV on YouTube

New vid on YouTube from Marques Brownlee. Hummer EV, 9200 lbs. and 0 - 60 MPH in 3 sec?! ? Still obscene, but slightly less offensive for being electric. LOL! ?

'Bulletproof' secret to Cybertruck windows revealed in Tesla Armor Glass patent

Also depends on the type of round and some of the characteristics of the gun. Eg. hollow point, grain weight of the bullet, teflon coatings, barrel length, etc. Bold prediction... Demolition Ranch on YouTube will put the Tesla CT windows to the test! Haha...

'Bulletproof' secret to Cybertruck windows revealed in Tesla Armor Glass patent

Saying the CT windshield is bulletproof was a great disservice to future customers. As noted before. Every dumbass with a gun will try to prove it. I could even foresee some folk suing Tesla over this when they get shot through the glass. So I guess they better make dern sure it IS...

'Bulletproof' secret to Cybertruck windows revealed in Tesla Armor Glass patent

Impact with a normal windshield typically does not turn out well either.

Rumor: Cybertruck (Not Model Y) Will Kick Off Production at Gigafactory Texas & Use Structural Battery Pack w/ 4680 Battery Cells

They are all wrong. I know for a fact that the first truck will roll off the production line on May 14, 2022. Elon told me. ;)

Will the CyberTruck be your First Tesla and/or Electric Vehicle?

great questions. I have never owned an EV before. Owning an EV just makes sense on so many levels. In rough order for me... 1. reduce my carbon footprint 2. minimal maintenance 3. cheap fuel 4. potentially supplying my own fuel with solar on my house 5. range (maybe this should be higher up as...

Elon Musk doesn't care if the Cybertruck flops

Of course when that happens, then humans become obsolete. ;)

Elon Musk doesn't care if the Cybertruck flops

Now that would be a true utility vehicle. You could beat the crap out of it, and not worry. And it'd probably run for decades. :D

Elon Musk doesn't care if the Cybertruck flops

Well said. Just like when the iPhone came out, some folks might have thought it was absurd. Where are the dang buttons?! How am I supposed to make a call on that piece of glass?? etc. LOL! We all know how that turned out.

Latest From Musk: Production Cybertruck almost exactly same but better. No door handles. 4 wheel steering. Self opening doors.

You would not be able to open the doors of any vehicle in that situation, depending on the water height. The back pressure from the water could not be overcome by you. Exiting via the window is your best bet in any case.

Latest From Musk: Production Cybertruck almost exactly same but better. No door handles. 4 wheel steering. Self opening doors.

Seems like you'd be adding parts elsewhere, or at least software, which is also a "part". Though probably one of the easiest parts to fix/update.

Samsung and Tesla sign deal for Cybertruck rearview mirrors / cameras

Tesla, like Musk's other companies, can turn on a relative dime. At least for now. So the timing does not worry me, in and of itself.
