I have “some” wind noise on drivers door. It’s mostly noticeable when there are surface winds blowing. It’s not been bad enough to make me want to do a SC trip. Yet. Keeping an eye/ear on it. I also think I may be getting some wind noise from the windshield. But that too isn’t always bad...

That's false recommendation. Of course you can supercharge locally. 1 mile down the street if you like. Just precondition (via schedule in app) to get battery up to temp. You do need some sufficient amount of battery to do this as it does take a not so insignificant amount to precondition...
