Wow! So are you a “VIP” in any way? If not the delivery map should change! This should mean within 60 days folks can get their Vins delivery within 90 days of ordering even if they are in the north east states!!!
Thanks, yes I saw this. I just didn’t assume the poster was VIP and they also said they just picked it up yet map already had PA active prior to this post, so I must have missed this users name in the spreadsheet. Hoping this could be a normal civilian, as a sign I might get mine soon.
Wait !?!?! You got a cyber truck in Philly!?!?! Devon? I heard there weren’t any deliveries in PA yet. Can you give your order date vin date and delivery date details? are you a Tesla employee? This just means the information on the forums delivery and vin pages aren’t correct.
We don’t know what this equation looks like for other states. Still wondering why they let us order hopefully we don’t get left out and they keep doing CA and TX. They could totally do this and go into next year before the other states even get vins.
Any vins or signs that they are making their way this far north? Any images of them sitting in lots up here. I know there’s are some on display in PA. Just curious.
Depends on your state. I think the only states that are going to “feel” the production boosts will be TX/CA/FL I don’t even know why they sent the order offers to other states at this point.
Sucks but I feel there is no sense of when this would happen. We will get ours by the fall I’m guessing if the goal is to get Texas and California situated first. Sucks. And so far the average for these TX/CA people getting their vin has been two months from their order date.
Well some people have mentioned things in other threads that suggest there was some info at one point on the strategy. I heard once it had to do with service centers and that they can prepare California and Texas easier. Some say they heard it was population. The truth is someone does know, it’s...
The population delivery model makes some sense. However, there’s been hardly any deliveries in NY. I guess I’m lucky I’m in PA. Also, it would follow the trickle trend we’ve seen in Florida. I wonder if there’s a formula to it. I guess they could sell trucks in the top three states and still...
I’m not sure I’ve seen an estimate or discussion about this. What is the best guess for the spillover in production to other states( not including Florida for some reason). Is it once they hit a certain production rate that a percentage will be cleared to go to states other than TX and CA? Is it...
There must be some non-zero likelihood that they are bringing trucks to service centers to help train the techs. I always wonder if the display trucks are not fully functional and used for techs to mess with and see the parts they’d be working with.
I had similar marks on my Y when it was new on the windows. Thats how they hold large flat objects with those big industrial installation suction holders. Should buff out.
Reddit is so full of trolls in most of the groups it sucks… Salt never ruins stainless steel things like pots, pans, knives… why would it ruin this? stainless steel is non-reactive and is ok with things like salt or acidic compounds. Unless you are heating it over 200 degrees or something.
