What phone do you have? You still don't get how bandwidth relates to data transfer or battery consumption. Your 5G icon is meaningless at low frequencies, it could be 3G or 4G speeds. You aren't on a high speed 5G connection, because at that frequency, bandwidth and data is limited by the...

Sandy Munro takes Cybertruck delivery -- first in Michigan. Teardown coming!

Yeah skipper Sandy. Captain of the USS Cybertanic. In peices she must rust, at the bottom of the sea, of disassembly.

You can power your house with Cybertruck if you already have a Powerwall!! [confirmed by Drew Baglino of Tesla]

Is your Powerwall connected to your meter or your house swtchpanel? Do you have a sub-panel otherwise? Or Either seems to need a gateway.

My turn for Critical Error, week 2

Sure, but most modern vehicles including ICE have ECUs that throw error codes on a screen or at least over OBD2 which any user can access via a bluetooth dongle and a phone app. Tesla has these too btw. But diagnosing failures is not the same as avoiding failures from happening in the first...

Owner experiences steering and brake failure

So according to the various other critical failures posted by CT owners on this site, they were not software failures, but hardware, including the PCS (Power Conversion System) and wiring harness. None a likely user errors at all. These being not the same failure makes things worse, not better...

Owner experiences steering and brake failure

In this case you might have your cart in front of your horse though. :ROFLMAO: Feel free to find and read all of my posts on this forum on different threads in regards to the Critical Failure. For the record, brake and steering failure should not happen together as they should be on seperate...

Owner experiences steering and brake failure

You only say that because you don't have the expertise to comment on the way it works technically. At least I'm in the peanut gallery, not sitting outside on the curb without a ticket to get in on the action. ?

Owner experiences steering and brake failure

There were a few others that liked it, so no loss. I think you got a different perspective at least, not everything is clear cut at first glance. It's just as important to see the technical failure without the media filter, otherwise everything will become irrelevant.

You can power your house with Cybertruck if you already have a Powerwall!! [confirmed by Drew Baglino of Tesla]

The Gateway disconnects the grid part to the utility meter so you can operate the rest of the house off-grid. Otherwise the Powerwalls would export power to the grid when the grid is down. Not all networks accept the Gateway as the disconnect/Isolation device. Hence my statement that...

You can power your house with Cybertruck if you already have a Powerwall!! [confirmed by Drew Baglino of Tesla]

Yes, but only through the bed outlet that would not automatically switch between charge and discharge. For that you will need a powerwall, and a bi-directional Tesla Charger(possibly Gateway, depending on where it's implemented), with a custom interface to your own power setup as only the NACS...

❗️ He FLIPPED his CYBERTRUCK for $245,000 🥵 How He Feels about NO-RESALE Agreement & Profit Made

Still more fluff. The clause protects "legit customers". What does that even mean in the real world? Who buys a vehicle at a premium for political reasons to defame a car brand? Are people paying extra for a early delivery criminals, liars and cheats now? Why did you pay the FS premium then...

Owner experiences steering and brake failure

One doesn't exclude the other, Tesla is not above failure or poor design. Neither does Tesla have the monopoly on common sense. They admit to it all the time, it's just that they call it "progress".

Owner experiences steering and brake failure

It's called a "Critical Failure" not Catastrophe. You are being blinded by the fanboi propaganda, just stick to the technical items. There's pages here on the forum discussing the issue in detail. Your statements and terminology highlight the actual issue at hand, that you believe Tesla is...

Owner experiences steering and brake failure

How does the Steer by wire steering work on the Cybertruck? It is not mechanically connected. Also on power failure the brake booster also does not work. This is not good by any definition of the word safe.

Owner experiences steering and brake failure

There's already been 10 or so apparently. Both scary and unnecessary. Pretty poor redundancy design, not something you want to happen whilst driving at all.

❗️ He FLIPPED his CYBERTRUCK for $245,000 🥵 How He Feels about NO-RESALE Agreement & Profit Made

Exactly, just like door locks keep the honest people out. There is absolutely no justification for Tesla to add the clause, except for us to discuss it and feed the hype machine its daily sacrifice.

❗️ He FLIPPED his CYBERTRUCK for $245,000 🥵 How He Feels about NO-RESALE Agreement & Profit Made

More FUD dude. You are still assuming stuff and then using that as a basis for argument. (even if for whatever reason the admin keeps deleting my posts for "misquoting", whatever that means, although I never do it, and I don't think it's in the forum rules either?) I can't help you if you...

I have a nuclear reactor in my basement for my inter-dimensional time machine. Appeal to authority dosen't work if you choose to ignore the core of the argument. The point is if you have 5G enabled it will use the higher frequencies that use more power per packet of data at range or in a...

Windshield not butt proof, or idiot proof

Static vs dynamic load. CT gets butt hurt. BTW being drunk is NOT an excuse. You still had to decide to drink alcohol first.
