I sure hope CT sticks around, but this is NOT good news for it. Tesla is unpredictable at best so I could see it going either way right now. They may keep it around just out of spite or because Elon likes it, or they may find that it’s fulfilled its purpose of testing all the new crazy tech...
People really should know better. I remember my parents telling me not to trust peoples’ signals when they were teaching me to drive almost 20 years ago. Hopefully people get the memo as FSD and Robotaxis become more common.
I’ve also had plenty of headache from clientele who wear these. Not that grills and what I have to deal with are directly related, but there’s a trend developing.
No need to over analyze things. Drive it, charge it, rinse, repeat. As you approach 150K, have it checked to see if you can get a free replacement under warranty. If you can’t, your battery is doing well enough. Don’t stress over getting it to single digits then charging to 50/80/100/whatever...
Just got the holiday update. Haven’t taken it out yet. I think it just does nav for now but hopefully they replace the entire voice command thing with grok soon.
Sounds like they need to tell their defroster to relax a bit. Any way to do that? I’ve never used it. I live in TX and park in a garage so never needed it.
Sorry to hear. These posts always make me nervous. When business is normal, I hate seeing vehicles just die. If you drove through a huge ditch just because you felt like it, that’d be one thing. This is another.
The exposed steel piece supposedly thought it was a cantrail and went flying off. I also have a set I haven’t installed yet but will probably throw some superglue on before installation, when and if that happens after unsupervised arrives.
Weird. Yeah, like you already said reboot the truck and the app then it might have to get seen by service. Hopefully not, sometimes tech wakes up on its own.
Very strange. Never seen that, but it seems like maybe it’s searching for the phone key? Mine has done the whole greyed out “start self-driving” button when I pull out of my garage and my phone and truck move from my home WiFi to the truck WiFi.
