So my assigned Tesla certified installer declined to handle my project. Said they had issues with the inspectors in south Jersey. I sent out a few emails requesting an installation quote, to installers from the Tesla list. One replied back that Tesla does not want other installers to quote a...
Back again.
I got impatient after Neil’s post, so I called Tesla. They actually relayed some useful information. They said my CT is at the Cherry Hill service center and getting prepped and inspected. Delivery should happen next week, after the pedal issue is resolved and green light is given...
Hey HB, that was the exact same answer I got when I called Tesla on the 5th. They said my CT should arrive at CH about Thursday the 11th. Was expecting a call about a delivery date and it never happened. Then I thought maybe a call by last Friday, still didn’t happen. Then the pedal issue popped...
I would think that since Tesla has been made aware of this issue, if they don’t fix it 100% correctly, they would be open to many lawsuits for negligence, if something were to happen after the fact.
Hey Phil. Never got a delivery date. That’s what I’ve been waiting for. Hoping to get a date next week, the actual delivery date would probably be a week or so after I get the date/text.
I have a 2010 Rx350 that got recalled because of the carpet/accelerator issue.
The dealership just trimmed the corners of the pedal. I think the carpet already had secured in the front, but that might have been added too. Many design flaws take time and use of the masses to get uncovered.
Same here in NJ. Was hoping last week to get a delivery date of this week. Now hoping next week to get the call or text to schedule a delivery date. Looks like my March delivery will be in May. ?
My 2010 Lexus Rx350 had a recall because the accelerator pedal would get stuck on the floor mat, wide open.
was a NTSB safety recall. Had to bring the car into the dealership to have the accelerator pedal trimmed.

Should be quite a few great pics at the meetup (May4th), if we can get most of the NJ owners there.
To help the cause, I have created a pdf CyberFlyer. If a few can print it out and see if their SC will display it, it would be nice.. I'll take care of Cherry Hill. Guess that leaves Paramus &...
GM.
same here in NJ. Delivery dates were cancelled. It does suck. It is frustrating.
But much better to have a solid and safe vehicle than not. The disappointments will all pass and be forgotten once you drive away in YOUR cybrtrk. Patience.
Cool website Phil !!
My ex bother-in-law died from a bike accident years ago.
I know it's a trip from Roslyn, but maybe we'll see you at the NJ CT Meetup on May 4th.
I think some of the NJ owners who got their CT might skip using the forum now, as it served it's usefulness in helping us keep our sanity while we waited.
What would be really cool would be if the SC's could email the CT owners that already took delivery
the flyer. That way we have a great...
Hope it is JUST a logistics issue and not a build issue.
Our CT's I believe are in the northern NJ trainyard, where ever that is.
Should be a short carrier trip to Paramus or Prince.
Wouldn't it be NICE if Tesla treated their $100K customers with just a little respect and kept them informed of...

Hey Philip,
Just remember, the members on this forum only account for like 10% of the actual Tesla orders. So there can many more orders in front of you than you see here. Sorry to say. You’re gonna have to be patient, like we all have been.
How’s the duck pond? Have been in Roslyn in a few...
