after listening to it some more, I believe it is in-fact the inverter... yours just has a slightly more high pitched sound than mine. It is very annoying in mine as well, but Tesla says that it is normal.

so I get to the appointment today and they inform me that parts aren't available. I had this appointment scheduled for over a month. They ordered parts and rescheduled for later this month.

Right now mine only leaks in the car wash. Rain and even heavy rain doesn’t ingress as I replaced the seal with a more heavy duty one early on. I will be taking it to the car wash probably on Wednesday for testing.
