My experience was pretty smooth, but I paid in full with app. The biggest challenge for me was getting insurance policy as I didn't have one prior to add the CT to. Tesla needed insurance before Registration could be printed and many insurance companies wanted proof of registration to start...
Thanks for the reply, I looked at the email they sent me about it, and they said that within 1 months after delivery it will unlock. So I guess I just wait for it to show up like you described.
I definitely think you can Rent it and get a kick back from it, but keep in mind early rentals will abuse it.
Outside of that, everyone thinks it will tank in price which will happen, but when it does remains to be seen.
When the base model is available, the resale of foundation might drop a...
On roads the Beast is for showy stuff. The AWD has plenty of passing power when needed.
Off roads the Beast might have a little more potential, but I think in the end it won't make much difference after updates come in and improve differentials. I really can't imagine needing beast...
You can always cancel, but they probably won't give you your 1k back.
The only way they'd discount foundation series is if they thought they were in danger of not selling them all because of this FSD price drop. This is highly doubtful, that enough will cancel over this... and very likely...
I can see some people getting aggressive and demanding their $1000 non-refundable back because of this change. Acting like the FS was misrepresented when they locked in their order... But there's probably nothing they can do.
I do think lawyers are looking closely at Teslas very fast price...
I like the pebble design, but that price... The auto hitch is whatever... What's making up the price? A giant battery and solar? I actually don't care about the auto docking hitch and remote controls. I think a lot of the price is that.
I would be interested in a cheaper one without that...
Foundation Series Trim and Price retention. Once it stops the orders will explode. It's also gotten more awkward since FSD isn't available on CT yet, but also Tesla has lowered the monthly for FSD and the 12k price for it isn't an obvious benefit to everyone... Not unless Tesla make it regular...
Taking it onto a track is one thing, but the acceleration of the CB is simply just not useful on regular roads or any type of off-road scenario. Still it's not really a track vehicle either, could probably benefit with track tires ?
I'm glad they didn't segment the trims with much else besides...
As expected they were extremely quick to address this issue. And we now know approximately how many they made in the first quarter. Was getting ridiculous with the articles and rumors the entire production was.shut down, when it was really just deliveries.
The people from December still waiting are either in small pop states or they ordered a cyberbeast Tri motor. The majority of people posting about Pickups lately have been January orders.
lol, I bet he ditches that color the minute the Lakers lose. From an outside perspective it doesn't even remotely look associated unless you tell someone what the inspiration is.
I'm not a fan of dark tones with matte on the CT, it basically deletes the contrast of the polygonal look... Like...
