Anyone else not getting full amperage when using the wall charger?

I just checked. Was hard to see as the Cybertruck blocks my view of the charger. It’s flashing red 3 times so I see that it’s overheating and probably why I’m getting limited. I don’t know if it’s just because of weather here, or if it will be an ongoing issue. It’s very hot here in Central Cali...

Anyone else not getting full amperage when using the wall charger?

Frankly I never noticed, and just assumed my model 3 was charging on full available amperage as it was always charged to my setting at my set departure time. I had my wall charger installed by a certified tesla installer or professional id say lol. I just said 40amps as I thought that was the...

Anyone else not getting full amperage when using the wall charger?

Thanks for the link to this thread. I have a feeling something like this is going on. I don’t even know how to check DIP settings or anything like that. Need to do some research.

Anyone else not getting full amperage when using the wall charger?

That’s interesting. We are in the middle of a heatwave here in California. 100+ every day. I still never had this issue with M3 on hot days. And as I just posted I unplugged and plugged the charger back in and now I’m getting 48amps.

Anyone else not getting full amperage when using the wall charger?

Update: I unplugged it, and plugged it back in. Now it’s at the full 48amp charge rate. Any idea why it would have limited me to 23amps before?

Anyone else not getting full amperage when using the wall charger?

That’s strange. I never had this issue with the model 3. If I set it to charge to a certain % by day 7:30 am, it was charged to that percentage. I first noticed this yesterday as I set it to charge to 70% by 8am and it only charged to 60% by that time. Haven’t had a single problem charging in 3...

Anyone else not getting full amperage when using the wall charger?

Not all the post made it. I set my truck to charge to 100% for a road trip this morning. It still has 6hrs left, but it’s supposed to be finished in 2. And it’s maxed out at 23amps with no option to bump it up.

Anyone else not getting full amperage when using the wall charger?

Is anyone else not getting full amperage when using the wall charger? I’d normally get full 40 amp charging when I charged my Model 3.

Anyone else not getting full amperage when using the wall charger?

Is anyone else not getting full amperage when using the wall charger? I’d normally get full 40 amp charging when I charged my Model 3. Now I don’t have an option to go above 23amps. I set the truck to charge to 100% by a certain time this morning and it still says 6 hrs remaining, but it’s...

    Loving the stainless!

Same here. I was all set to wrap, but I’ve been thinking about how hard it might be to clean a wrap. Today I took the SS through the cheapest exterior wash and wiped it down and it looks great. So easy ?

Once VIN is assigned, Is delivery date flexible? I’m going on a 1-month vacay

Mine said June to August, but my VIN was assigned the day after configuring and I was able to take delivery two days after VIN assignment. I think it all depends on location.

    Small bubble in windshield

That’s what I was thinking as well. Not sure if getting it replaced will cause more issues. The bubble or whatever i see is pretty small.
