Just curious, what is the highest VIN number we have seen for a FS CyberBeast?
I picked mine up in early OCT with a 369xx, I know I have seen a 370xx posted here.
Anyone seen a 380XX?
So, what is the highest?
Also, what are some of the non-FS CB VINS?
Even the camera rear view mirror alone is pretty much useless. The FOV is so large that if a following vehicle is more that 3 or 4 car lengths back it is difficult to even tell if it is a car of a truck.
I hope someone comes out with a solution for the CT that addresses this problem. So...
While I may agree with you on the rivet through the pedal thing (even though I believe the CT will now wear that rivet as a badge of honor in perpetuity), the rest of your rant is a bit harsh. You say the, "majority of ct owners atm are just middle aged douches tryna justify 100k", seriously...
I know @Administrator does not tolerate politics on the forum. So, this is a really difficult topic to discuss. Unfortunately, the Cybertruck is BEING made political.
I was in York, Pennsylvania a week ago for a pinball show and tournament. I listened to a political ad on the radio, it...
I get that, but I don't carry kids anymore and that digital camera view goes away when the blinker is put on.
The software needs serious tweaking for the rear-view camera. It is like every time the blinker is put on, Tesla expects you to merge into an adjacent lane and gives the "blind spot...
Yeah, floor mounted. Meh.
As mentioned in this thread we are talking about designing one to be mounted horizontally on the rear "firewall" so that items can be hung from the track. The floor mounted one is okay for holding a net, but not near as useful as one mounted on the firewall could be.
@TWRAPS , were you able ever to investigate the feasibility of adding an L-track to the rear wall of the frunk? (as mentioned by @SentinelOne and illustrated by @rudedawg78 above) ?
I have not started pulling off any panels yet to check the viability myself, but I do feel such an L-rack would...
I like the design, they do look good on your Cybertruck.
In the video, there is some discussion about designing metal bumpers. If anyone does an aftermarket bumper for the rear, please consider some type of integral step system allowing easy access to the bed when the tailgate is down.
Well, the skies parted, and I picked up my CyberBeast yesterday evening!
Took delivery at the Richmond, VA SC. Absolutely, no problems and by orders of magnitude the easiest new car purchase I have ever made! (Even though it cost more than my first 3 houses!) I could have been out the door in...
I have been thinking on this subject and Sandy's comment. As @Electric Metal aptly demonstrated the CT is more than capable of supporting a contractor on site. Though, the CT does have some intrinsic prejudices to overcome in order to be widely accepted as a "work truck". Whatever that means...
It seems TESLA has some of the lowest number of recalls in the auto industry, but one would never know that based on the news headlines!!
Good article.
TESLA near bottom in auto recalls
Sandy Munro is interviewed by Josh West at the Everything Electric Show in Vancouver, Canada.
Some comments on his likes and (couple) of dislikes with the CT and FSD.
Also, a good discussion on the state of EV industry in general.
Worth the watch:
While I applaud the goal, :) I do hope Tesla lets Foundation owners retain some differentiation and value from Non-FS trucks, besides just the badging.
