  1. Review of several accessories from BestEVMod

I’ve loved and purchased bestevmod stuff since their inception (different name too) for MachE, Lightning and now CT on many different forums. I believe I even 3D printed and tested some parts for firmament. I have to say I did not leep those two. They felt very plasticy and hollow, but I did...
  2. Hardwired fridge in frunk

I received the Victron Energy 500VA 48-Volt 120V AC Pure Sine Wave Inverter and this baby is way larger and heavier than I expected. To confirm again you were able to fit this behind the frunk liner? Care to share any details on how you mounted it? I will have very limited time when I’m able to...
  3. Tesla Apple Watch App development underway ⌚️🙌

Yeah it's  Watch but not  Intelligence, since that wouldn't give them the acronym and SEOness of AI.
  4. Tesla Apple Watch App development underway ⌚️🙌

If you really want / need to do this now, you can use a 3rd party app with API access with "Tessie" or "Stats for Tesla". They utilize the API and their watch app to add the Apple Watch as a bluetooth key. It shows up on the screen and everything, because you pair it with the Tesla, tapping your...
  5. OEM Accessories for Sale

I don't think you're the only one! I've seen these pop up around. I happily spent my voucher on stuff I really wanted and was glad to get it all. Only thing I didn't pickup I wanted was the underseat storage. Twice now saw them for $150 but I missed out on it by an hour or two. I regularly...
  6. Dust ingress into vault

If you stand beside the bed and look towards the inside bottom of the tailgate, where it meets the bed, you can see a very large opening. I believe they did this for water drainage, but certainly as you kick up dust, a bunch of it will swirl up there and end up settling into the bed. When I saw...
  7. Custom Cybertruck Lock Chime Sounds I Made (Download Here) 🎼

To make them quieter, use an application like Audacity or Garage Band and reduce the gain. I found that on something like the Mac Startup Chime sound effect, I needed to drop as much as 20db, but now it sounds wonderful when I walk away. I've included the original (marked too loud) and the...
  8. The best remote control fridge / freezer setup for Cybertruck!

Nice solution. I solved this in my frunk with a Iceco Go20 I had and an EcoFlow River 2 Pro. I'm wiring a 110 to the frunk power feed this weekend so "complete the circuit" but the Iceco plugs directly into the River 2 via 12v and then the River 2 will plug into the 110. The Go20 is very...
  9. Does 12.5.5 Have Always-On Lane Keeping Assist, Or Just When Auto-Pilot / FSD Is Engaged?

This is the hill you want to stand on? Against a safety feature? I'd encourage everyone to just avoid responding to nonsense like this.
  10. Does 12.5.5 Have Always-On Lane Keeping Assist, Or Just When Auto-Pilot / FSD Is Engaged?

Yes exactly, that's what I've been saying. And I know it's hard to communicate because most people right now are focused on the FSD release. But the regular everyday Lane Keeping would be a huge plus for every driver out there.
  11. Does 12.5.5 Have Always-On Lane Keeping Assist, Or Just When Auto-Pilot / FSD Is Engaged?

That was the question yes. And since the answer is yes, then I’d hope that will come the CT as well. As of now, there’s FSD but no active lane keeping with out being in AP or FSD. It definitely seems a little backwards, but I guess they really wanted to get FSD out, and I can appreciate that...
  12. Does 12.5.5 Have Always-On Lane Keeping Assist, Or Just When Auto-Pilot / FSD Is Engaged?

Having just done a 30 min drive on winding roads with Joe mode on and off and on and off several times…I did not perceive a difference as far the lane assist screech. If there is one, it’s not noticeable with everyday conversation or music and road noises going on. Just as loud and abrasive.
  13. Does 12.5.5 Have Always-On Lane Keeping Assist, Or Just When Auto-Pilot / FSD Is Engaged?

Thanks! Do all other current models (because I know they’ve removed a lot of little things and all the sonic sensors) have active lane assist and keeping? I would hope it’s coming. Loved FSD so far. It’s not perfect but I’m happy to have it. Lastly, Joe Mode, does that affect the sound of this...
  14. Does 12.5.5 Have Always-On Lane Keeping Assist, Or Just When Auto-Pilot / FSD Is Engaged?

Yes I’ve driven with that toggled both on and off, on normally city roads and on the highway. It alters but does not aid, correct? I probably didn’t ask it clearly, does it actually aid (yet, or ever will since I’ve never owned a Tesla) on the CT? ie on a 2015 Genesis I had, lane keeping was...
  15. Does 12.5.5 Have Always-On Lane Keeping Assist, Or Just When Auto-Pilot / FSD Is Engaged?

I cannot seem to find this exact answer anywhere. It's my first Tesla but not my first EV. Every other vehicle I've had with this feature, it was an always-on feature that did not depend on TACC or Self-Driving being enabled. Is it supposed to be there? Not available yet? Thanks!
  16. Hardwired fridge in frunk

Yep that's the exact one I had settled on too. Just needed to confirm you didn't have an issue with cable length. I maybe 3M VHB mounting the inverter if there's no ideal location for it. If you have any inputs please share. It's all been ordered and will be arriving mid week when I get back...
  17. Hardwired fridge in frunk

Could you provide some more details on this? The power feed in the frunk has three wires: red w/ blue stripe (positive), brown w/ blue stripe (negative), and green (local interconnect network). You just stripped the positive and negative power feed wires and connected them directly into the...
  18. Congrats to the Tuesday invites

Apparently, two people that got the invitation today were 20,000 apart and neither in CA or TX nor in the same state as one another. That’s a big group unless they really are just going purely by location + transport logistics.
