Wash the truck? What in the ham sandwich is that all about? No, seriously, some years ago you could buy spray-on mud, popular in Europe, as you suggested to impress your neighbors you are the rugged off-road type. I still have a few cans lying around if you want to borrow some........
Ah, fuhgeddaboudit, Jersy, we ain't got no stinkin' laws here in Montana. No seriously, do you know what the law actually requires? I would imagine the wording is rather vague/broad. I would also bet you Tesla didn't accidentally not think of that.
The truth is there are many little things that are radically different about driving a Tesla. Things that take you about 5 miles of driving to get accustomed to, like single-pedal driving/rarely using the brake. Mirrors versus cameras, probably not really much of a thing...........but we'll...
Ok, we're gonna need verification of how many off-road miles each of you guys have driven in a truck............or should I say each of you city slickers? This is confusing. Can you be an off-road city slicker? Asking for a friend...........
It doesn't really matter if the final number is 25% or 75% of the initial orders that don't pan out, although it will be 25%. Either way for the first few years of production people are going to be waiting in line to actually get a Cybertruck. That's been the history of new Tesla lines and will...
Oddly enough, when I get into a vehicle, and before I start driving, I check that I can see out my windows and with my mirrors. But I suppose I might forget all about seeing anything outside the vehicle if some of the views were camera-based instead. I mean, it's not like I could just look up...
Well, many people placed multiple orders either because the website misfired or they were undecided on the model. Some may back out otherwise but many more have piled on so I'm guessing 25% will back out. That's just basics of how you guess unknown statistics..........to get in the...
I have a Tesla Model 3 Stealth Performance, best car I've ever owned. I also have an F350 diesel dually and an off-road 4Runner. The Cybertruck should outperform the 4Runner and the F350 with everything but towing my gooseneck trailer. Can't have everything. Interesting how many folks the...
Well, looks like you can reach out the window and clean the camera as well. As for the rest, right, that's why I said I'm cool with the idea, not necessarily the reality. As someone who tows a gooseneck with an F350 dually, I'm a bit sceptical of the functional aspect of towing with that setup...
Right, keep the cameras clean the same way you keep mirrors clean. If you can indeed do away with side mirrors on a truck that would be cool.........the mirrors most certainly are in the way............so I'm good with the idea of mirror elimination.
And I was referring to the original post, by the way.......not you rendition Sirfun........playing with the aesthetics I'm cool with, just not into trying to make the design look traditional. I'm not trying to take the wind out of your sails........
