  1. how many Cybertrucks exist?

There was a CT on stage but wasn't there a CT giving rides soon after? I wonder how many CTs exist for Elon's use, testing etc. I guess they were made in Fremont? It seems likely that there is a prototype production line in Fremont to make the exoskeleton and the tooling of this line will...
  2. Nikola Badger pickup

True, The Bush Administration tried to declare the H2 economy because it was a Big oil derivative even though it was green-washed in the way it was presented. H2 was to be made using fossil fuels and distributed using similar networks. Our govt threw a lot of money at it but it fizzled.

  4. Cybertruck trimotor has lowest cost per mile of range among all Teslas

delusional optimism? or delayed optimism. Folks make aspirational promises all the time. We should only admire the positivism and reserve grains of salt for the rest. Will the factory open late 2021? Probably not but they probably will try hard and succeed in 2022. Close enough.
  5. Cybertruck Has a Texas Home! Musk Announces Gigafactory Texas For Cybertruck Production!

maybe the Tesla Austin site will have a San Antonio river walk type of vibe with lit led CTs floating up and down the river. Cyber themed restaurants and a stage for Grimes.
  6. Cybertruck Has a Texas Home! Musk Announces Gigafactory Texas For Cybertruck Production!

If demand goes crazy then Tulsa may be the next expansion site. Seems like this site, making CTs, semis and mYs is constrained from too much expansion. Perhaps when Tesla sees the the demand once the CTs and Semis are out there they will be forced to dedicate the Austin site to CTs and expand...
  7. Tesla Insurance - Good Plan?

my wife and I discussed this and wasn't too impressed "doesn't Flo already do that?" I guess Progressive insurance has some device that monitors driving habits. So I tried to explain that Tesla can collect so much data etc. and she asked me if I ever drove the speed limit on our...

Unleash the graders!!! It is clear that that they are working on the west side of the property (was farmland before the tollway) which has slightly greater elevation than the eastern side. This photo is pointing north on the 43 about 1500 feet from the river. Thanks for the photo!
  11. Autoline: Has Cybertruck Changed Pickup Design?

Perhaps Elon wanted a cool truck and due to the production hell he was enduring he requested brainstorming to produce designs that were easy to manufacture and required no painting. So SS was the only option to avoid painting and to simplify manufacturing: minimize stampings/welding/reduce...
  12. Cybertruck Has a Texas Home! Musk Announces Gigafactory Texas For Cybertruck Production!

I think the property is bounded by Harold green rd to the north, toll road 45 to the west and the Colorado river to the south and east. This property was likely river bed the past few millions years which is why recently it was mined for sand and perhaps gravel. It appears that the ditches on...

It may be useful to get a bumper sticker claiming it is NOT a truck so you can avoid moving your coworkers stuff in Phoenix in August.
  15. Cybertruck Has a Texas Home! Musk Announces Gigafactory Texas For Cybertruck Production!

Austin has a great university with a great engineering school. Even John B. Goodenough resides there. After listening to the 2nd quarter comments earlier there were multiple occasions where Musk and others were begging for the best engineers. I hope young engineers nationwide take notice!
  16. Should Tesla Do Paid Advertising?

supply and marketing can create demand. Tesla could try harder to find out people want and surprise us with their genius. This is one of the great things about the cybertruckownersclub is that we do articulate the cool things we could want in a CT and who knows? maybe Tesla listens.
  17. Should Tesla setup a Blank-Check Co. (SPAC) or separate IPO for Cybertrck so that buyers can qualify for a $7500 rebate?

I guess you are correct. The government does have debt and instituted occasional bake sales to generate the revenue to pay for debt and its other obligations. But since my act does have a two drink minimum as you down drink number two consider that the government does try to create incentives...
  18. Check out Elon's Cybershoes and Cyberjacket!

I would expect a stealth cyber railgun that rises from the vault and can fire 3mm slugs at rate of 100-250/minute with high accuracy. Adjustable velocity could make these slug almost non-lethal for dispersing crowds and cattle.
