It appears that there are attachment points for the SS exterior panels on the subframe and bosses on the casting to mount SS panels. The exterior SS panels will be too structurally insignificant to declare this as an exoskeleton as most of the loads will be handled by the castings, structural...
The 1st, 3rd and 4th photo are the pilot line (California) and the 2nd photo was Texas. The accumulator (air tank) appears to be aluminum and hopefully mounted in a way where water can be drained often.

Tape adheres well to high surface energy materials like metals.
I prefer acute angles to obtuse angles, my wife prefers I don't stare at acute angles too much. I just just tell her it is a matter of degrees and somewhere there is the right angle.
Arizonan here. I can appreciate the needs for cold weather but here we have the other extreme: heat.
Ventilated seating would be very appreciated as the dash vents need a few minutes just to cool down the vents/dash itself whereas ventilated seats would put the cool air where it is needed...
yeah just the 48v system layer is turned on. The advantage of 48v is V x A = watts or power best application for 48v is devices that draw hefty power like electric brakes, suspension pump, drive by wire/4 wheel steering, external winches etc. 48V would also power all the controllers but not...
The wiper was not shown on the original CT. I think the BAW is the result of Franz not including it in the initial design as if "we can figure out those details later". The hood articulation could not easily tilt up in the back to present concealed wipers so they considered many options but...
I a surprised there was not much discussion of the rear casting as shown in the investors day photos.
The rear casting could be seen, somewhat transparent, in the rendering of the wiring/controllers.
Hats like that resemble the shape of the cab on a pickup. A cyber hat would have the brim sloped up and over. Perhaps a cross between deerskalker and donegal cap.
Perhaps. I would expect some some legal loophole like "prices subject to change at time of purchase".
They did take down the configurations and prices and Tesla could argue that the vehicle being offered next year is different than what was shown years ago.
what did Elon say recently about pricing and demand? Also, there are many Tesla fans who invested in Tesla years ago and thought that they could afford the CT when TSLA was going to the moon. 2022-2023 are probably bad years for tech stocks but Teslanaires will probably end up with more modest...
15k for FSD that isn't FSD with no guarantee it will ever be fully FSD. The hardware comes with the CT and if they ever achieve FSD then you can purchase it whenever.
When most of us put our $100 down we may have thought that the FSD price at the time was locked in but I doubt Tesla will honor...
Old truck drivers know a pickup when they see it. CT doesn't look like a pickup. There are no commercials where the CT is tearing up the landscape as a gravelly voice tells us how the truck has the best torque or best in class something or other. This is old school American truck culture...
