Why no HUD? (On any Tesla?)

How useful is it to know you are parked? How useful is it to know that u are facing southwest? Do you really need to know that it's 109 degrees and if it changes to 100 degrees that information should be known immediately. If you put the car into drive and the speedometer is showing 20mph is it...

You are over 50 and drive a camaro? But seriously just because your eyes are pointing at the road does not mean that you will be quicker to see something happening. Every time your attention shifts things can happen in plain sight that you will never notice.

Linear motion doesn't mean that it has to be concurrent. I would run the upper accelerator delayed slightly. This would cause a slight lift at the end of each run to allow squeegee face swap and the delay would mean a leeward force on wiped material.

Elon Musk is TIME Person of the Year [CLOSED: VIOLATION OF NO-POLITICS RULE]

No I think you are misunderstanding my argument. It was that I appreciate Elon for his zany brain and brilliance, but he has terrible public policy ideas, he often wants to use engineering (optimized tradeoff) to solve political (emotional) problems. This is understandable, he has said that he...

Elon Musk is TIME Person of the Year [CLOSED: VIOLATION OF NO-POLITICS RULE]

My bad, I thought I was engaging in the serious EV topic of goverment subsidies. Your other thoughts are interesting but if I engage moderation will just remove them and probably yell at me.

And for Elon no subsidies is good.... ? never mind that he made all his intial money in .com a subsidized www. Space X functions because it wins taxpayer funded space exploration. One could say subsidized space exploration now that private companies are doing it. Tesla itself probably only...

Plus storing it antenna style means that preheating the car will cause all the snow to slide off the windshield unto the flush mounted hood and into a cute little pile at the front that I will then drive right over.
