You either need to drill yourself some holes or buy this: https://shop.tesla.com/product/cybertruck-roof-applique-for-crossbars
The mounting studs are still underneath, just no doors to access them. Why, you may be wondering? No one knows.
Docās giving out all the shout outs! Lol
But yes, OEM crossbars are cheating. Nothing should be that solid and come on and off that easily. I tried the Mars ones (crossbars, not the rack) and itās not even fair to compare them. They arenāt even in the same league.
Something to consider though, keep it and get the cyber wheel and winter tire package. I went that route and now use my cores as track tires, emergency spares, and Iāll throw them on to take the cyber wheels to discount tire for new tires when I need them. Donāt like 3rd party shops touching my...
I canāt bring myself to do that, even on a road trip. One trip there was a long way to the next charger and Tesla said I needed at least 92% to make it. I went to 92 and unplugged ASAP. I figured they factored in dummy proofing and didnāt want to stress the battery.
Wow thatās crazy. ERs can only react to the patients coming in. If youāre short one month, are you supposed to go pickup a bunch of homeless people and fix them? Seriously, the world has gotten stupid.
It is and it isnāt at the same time. Theres no number I have to meet, but I also have to justify my existence. Iām a city guy, so I have 911 calls to respond to in addition to traffic stops and that shows my bosses Iām actually working. Sheriffs and Troopers are typically all about traffic stops...
For sure! I like the idea of a corded one. Something that can stay in the gear locker and not worry about charging it would be great. Also looking for a good corded air compressor. Iāll probably try Teslaās but I havenāt had good luck with their past ones. V2 and V3 for the sexy cars both took a...
I have a snap on floor jack and Milwaukee impact driver for rotations, but Teslaās kit is a pretty solid option for swapping a spare on the side of the freeway.
Is that electric jack small enough to keep in the truck at all times? Corded or battery?
I slide a jack stand under the mounting point for the safeties but just leave it on the jack while changing wheels. Jack stand hasnāt had to support weight yet.
