My Cybertruck experience after 2 Weeks, +6400 Miles and over-landing adventure in Utah

I am at a very early stage of the design. It's so early that I am still researching. I haven't built anything yet. I would love to build something that looks like the cap that opens straight up rather than another triangle tent. But maybe I'm ok with it not even opening, as long as it can...

My Cybertruck experience after 2 Weeks, +6400 Miles and over-landing adventure in Utah

The snow I drove through was mild at most. I still haven't experienced that and probably won't much, if ever, since my home base is in Florida.

Yes. I think I have it all on video. Still reviewing footage.

My Cybertruck experience after 2 Weeks, +6400 Miles and over-landing adventure in Utah

We have a tent with us always. We actually used it on this trip. Regarding the tires... No way I was going to carry 4 extra tires during my trip. No room or practical use of the space for two weeks. I am probably building a camper kit similar to the Space Campers "Cap".

My Cybertruck experience after 2 Weeks, +6400 Miles and over-landing adventure in Utah

That has been my plan for a bit but now I think I am going to make a radical camper setup. Similar to the Space Campers "Cap". If I can get a straight setup for leveraging the rack mounting points, I think I can pull it off. From now on, I will crawl the trails if I'm overlanding. No more high...

My Cybertruck experience after 2 Weeks, +6400 Miles and over-landing adventure in Utah

30-36 psi as that's what someone from Tesla told me they had them at when they went to the same Moab trails.

It doesn't rust. After two weeks abusing it, I washed it at home and everything was fine.

My Cybertruck experience after 2 Weeks, +6400 Miles and over-landing adventure in Utah

Because I only had the original tires for about three days, I don't have a good personal comparison. But road noise is not excessive and I get about 345-350 Wh/mi in the city and about 500 Wh/mi at 75-80 Mph on the highway. I think I was able to drive about 260 mile on the highway with about 15%...

Cybertruck Jumped In Sand, Much Damage

Looked somewhere close to 4 ft. when I walked it.

MY FIRST CYBERTRUCK ROAD TRIP! (WHAT'S INSIDE? FAMILY + JerryRigEverything)

I drove my Dual Motor Cybertruck > 6,400 miles the past two weeks without issues from Miami to Utah to Texas Starbase and back to Miami. The headlights were great. My average Wh/mi was 500 at those speeds and 37F. My road trip experience was even nicer than my Model Y LR and my Model 3...

Cybertruck Jumped In Sand, Much Damage

I was there and that was not a moderate jump. It was a nasty drop at high speed. Luckily he did not flip the truck. Considering the damage I saw, it could have been a lot worst. We kept over-landing for several more days without a problem after the jump and he drove back home to Florida without...

My Cybertruck experience after 2 Weeks, +6400 Miles and over-landing adventure in Utah

Hello everyone, I picked up my Cybertruck on March 4, and here are some of my thoughts. After 15 days and driving 6,465 miles (drove it locally in the Miami area for about 300 miles and three days later I was on my way to Utah for an overlanding adventure) and with fresh BFG K02 tires, I had...

Cybertruck Off-road tires (my delivery is this weekend)

I have the Ridge Grapplers on my Model Y and I have no issues with noise and I think the Cybertruck should be even quieter, but I will keep that in mind. It's just not my priority to make them comfortably quiet. I only want them for when I go to the places where they'll help me minimize chances...

Cybertruck Off-road tires (my delivery is this weekend)

I am trying to pick an off-road tire for my yet-to-be-delivered Cybertruck. This is my first post here, but some of you may know some of my adventure stuff. I would like to know if anyone here already has experience with off-road tires (actually using them off-road). I am considering BFG K02 and...
