I wonder at what speed the sharp point would start to drastically reduce efficiency. I love aerodynamics, and being a motorcycle rider, you can feel what the "wind" is doing behind some vehicles. its pretty cool. my complete random guess is somewhere around 85+ it will start to create more...
Im sure somone mentioned it before, but Elon has (many times) talked about how their prices have increased (as has most of the world) hinting that they wont be able to keep the CT price the same as launch prices.
my guess is 50k for base :{ outside my price for sure, unless my order comes up...
im not convinced Teslas will keep up its sells much longer.
-Far more competitors that are good
-they all look the same (Elon doesnt think it matters, but it does)
-Elon is pushing some buyers away... political stuff
i think the price drop plus bringing back the referral program is proof that...
the 2023 Toyota bZ4X is an SUV (or whatever they call them now) STARTS at $43,335
I saw 1 today at a charging station, pretty nice.
Id imagine it wouldnt be too hard to make a truck version, for around the same price.
that honestly sounds like a good competitor to me
Iv always wondered if EV's could be charged by lifting up the back and spinning the tires. makes me wonder if some type of apocalypse water wheel could charge them
Im kinda bummed we havnt learned anything about adding extra solar to the CT.
It was never suggested by tesla though (other than the integrated solar bed cover option)
IMO the preorder numbers r vastly over exaggerated. my random guess is 2.5-3 years for all these initial orders to be filled. I just hope they keep the cheap priced truck,
becuase... wasnt that the point?
