Interesting. So, to give you background, my driveway is about 600ft long. At first, FSD didn't even take me to the front of my driveway. As I kept navigating home and then taking over, eventually, FSD seemed to learn where the entrance to my house was. Now that I have FSD on the truck, it...
I have not seeing this feature. But, the system appears to be improving on my route, and on my drives. I'm not sure how the system learns/updates, but my driveway is narrow and a bit hidden at the entrance. FSD has learned, first of all, where to enter my driveway, and secondly, how to enter...
Just got it this morning.
Turns: Seems pretty smooth, but not as accurate as the Model S. While getting onto a highway, the truck slightly drove over a sloped curb on a turn on the way into work this morning because it cut the turn too short.
Lane: It seems to frequently drive on the solid...
Isn't this update just a visualization and not auto park? My S auto parks and I think it's great at that...hoping the truck will have it soon.. it's a beast to park straight
Anyone know of any type of locked storage that can be added inside the console storage to keep things safe?
I'd prefer something that is quickly accessible, like a keycode.
Should be big enough for... handheld.. protection equipment.
I left my Model S and Cybertruck in my garage for 5 days... both started at 80%.
After 5 days
Cybertruck: 16%
Model S: 73%
Only difference that I found was that preconditioning was on for the first day.. after it was discovered I turned it off. It didn't seem to make much difference, if any...
Update: Found a local body shop that was able to get the sail trim ordered. Took a week to get it in and 15 minutes to get it installed. Saved me a 180 mile on way trip to Kansas City service center..
Tesla did not cover the bill because I didn't have it serviced.. but at 250 bucks, it's nice...
Had UltraFit on my model S. It did protect well. However, It began to delaminate within 2 months and quickly got worse after that and became tough to see through. The local installer was quite helpful throughout the ordeal, however, the manufacturer does not appear to stand behind their...
Has anyone come across a clear protector for the front windshield? Had one on my model s, but it deteriorated in less than a year. Looking for an alternative to protect against pitting and rock chips.
I highly recommend putting a double layer of rainx or some other treatment on your windshield. When you do, the wiper becomes irrelevant and much less distracting during a rain.
I added rainx this morning. Spray on version. Did 2 coats. The CT windshield beaded the best of any windshield I've ever used it on. Didn't use the wiper at all. HIGHLY recommended, especially because the wiper is not as effective as standard dual wipers.
