There is a question that is being voted on right now to by one of the retailor investor on the Q4 earnings call that we call vote for. More votes means better chance it will be asked. There is a link to go directly to it to vote for that question. Would be great to get them to answer when we...
Purchased a 1979 Camaro for 6700. Was full MSRP. I was 19 and buying my first new car. Had no idea I could haggle.
Also dumb enough to buy a black Camaro with dark red interior in NC (and later to Destin Fl) with no AC.
Edit: The other question is how many FS will be built? If Tesla is going to build out all of 2024 with FS only, even if I keep my place inline I will be 2025 delivery. I am fine with that. Will be happy to keep my down payment and my low res#.
That will be the question for sure. My gut tells me the text implies a change to the order. To me it seems like I am not going to be re invited and that the order is in the system. Getting the amended doc's will tell us much.
My text number is the same as the one for my 2022 MY order. If I scroll back I still see the text entry's from that order.
So you do have an invite and an order placed? If so try texting that 510 number. Be careful you do not ask to cancel the FS order but instead change the order to non FS
You have been contacted through text if you have a FS order. I texted that rep back several times for different questions throughout this order process.
So it is actually interesting to see if I still have an order or if it is now a reservation? The text implies my order is changed not dropped so will this expedite my order for AWD once they are available?
Admin. I changed my order to non foundation. I guess in a sense I still have an invite and an order so this is interesting. Will need to at least change my entry to std awd rather then FS?
Thanks to @KenpoJo for this post:
"Spoke to 3 Tesla reps today from 3 different cities here in socal. They all gave me the same answer. Once your vin is assigned, you can downgrade your order from FS to standard, if you want to save the 20k. And say you decide not to go with the Cybertruck you...
If you need hundreds of thousands of miles I am confused on why you would need hundreds of thousands of Cybertrucks on the road to gather that many miles?
For those that have been hanging here over the years I just noticed @Dids has received invite and placed his order. Hope he is doing well and happy to see he is close to getting his CT. Looks like he went AWD.
