This is the same setup I have here in Idaho. Haven’t had any real snow yet in the Idaho Falls area though. I’ve put about 600 miles on them, mix of highway and city, and I’m getting 398 wh/mile so far. Before with the stock AT I was getting 374 wh/mile.
Heads up, looks like Tesla has dropped the two mount points above the glass roof for all cybertrucks built after November 14, 2024 - https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/oem-crossbars-for-cybertruck-now-available-in-tesla-shop.30301/post-537261
I want that everywhere ASAP. But I also want to know the charging curve and I hope it is impressive. What does everybody think about Tesla replacing the v3 cabinets at v4 dispensers? Probably won’t happen, but a Cybertruck driver that wants a better towing and road tripping experience can dream...
Hard for me to delete what I never had lol. But I did enjoy lurking on that subreddit while waiting for my Cybertruck. Though since I found Cybertruck Owners Club I’ve like this place way more and visited /cybertruck way less.
Yeah that’s what I’m seeing too. I almost bought them expecting them to be actual winter tires. Glad I held off and did a little research first. In my part of Idaho I really want winter tires on my vehicles.
I don’t like hot my phone gets while not actually charging much, so I just use a wired cable from the usb c port in the center console. I then stick my phone upside down in a cup holder. Not ideal, but at least my phone isn’t trying to moonlight as a skillet anymore.
I installed mine with minimal fuss and it looks great. My only problem is with the tiny little ends near the wheel wells. I’ve had to put on extra 3M tape to keep the from peeling up, ands I’m not sure I’ve been 100% successful yet. But overall I’m very happy and I think if I use more tape I can...
I really hope so. I live about 3.5 hours away from either of the service centers in my area and while making that drive two weeks ago to pick up my cybertruck was awesome, taking another day off of work for this would kinda suck.
Mine is noticeable if you’re looking for it, but I had a four hour drive home from the delivery center, it doesn’t impact the operation, and no one else that’s ogled my cybertruck has noticed or said anything so it isn’t a big deal to me. If I need to take it in for the wiper motor recall I’ll...
The owner of this classic also took a pic of the two together and offered to trade his for mine. I passed on the offer, but it was more tempting than any other offer I’ve received lol.
I’m heading down from Idaho Falls to Pleasant Grove on Wednesday to pick up my AWD Cybertruck! I’m so excited! VIN range 15,8xx and I’ve been waiting 1,655 days so far and can hardly contain myself. My wife and I haven’t told the kids and they’re going to explode when they find out as we pull...
This is great to know. Thanks. I hope Tesla can push an update that lets you AC charge at a campsite with the mobile connector while powering a trailer with the cybertruck’s on board outlets.
Here’s a hypothesis to test if somebody wants to. I would myself but I’m still waiting for my VIN. If the mobile access looks to be the culprit, there’s a setting to allow remote access that you could turn off and then leave the truck parked for a few hours and see if it still drains as much...
