Perfectly fine until it tries to reverse. Just don’t do that 😂
Can’t wait to get that prismatic rearview adapter to test out how it handles having the camera so much lower.
I agree that for manoeuvring, when backing up or navigating tight turns,
you need side view mirrors providing a wide field of view.
I noticed some trucks using digital side cameras, see below:
This sparked an idea: what if I extended my roof rack, add auxiliary cameras to the sides,
and use...
dig rearview does not help with seeing deeper on the rear sides toward the trailer
When you’re maneuvering the trailer you need to see deep
These should help
only fear is if hit, our permeant expensive mirrors will be damaged
But feel these can be an off on option

...up most of the center screen. The cameraviews are wide angle, with good resolution, but images appear more distant than mirrored images which takes some getting used to (same for Tesla's rearviewcamera display). After almost 2 years, I have not been ticketed for not having side mirrors.
My Pixel buds do.

I emailed back & forth with him. Because the license plate is is extremly recessed, it has to be extended a LOT, which makes the whole thing look goofy.. its a kickstarter, videos here...
Lens Lizard can't be positioned close enough to the rearviewcamera, because of the tailgate, and there are too many turbulents back their to get it aimed correctly. fail, unfortunatley.
...the rearcamera.. even with maxium adjustment on the washer nozzles, it looks like it misses the lens, and it is visible in the rearviewcamera as well. Trying to see if a non-drill solution is possible..
if this would have worked, the hose could be routed through the plastic trim piece...
I’ve got the CybertruckCo rear bumper with the passenger-side external tire carrier that swings away. I like it.
I paid full price for this bumper and I have zero relationship with CybertruckCo except as a paying customer.
It requires removing the entire OEM rear bumper. It provides a...
That stupid rear panel is already bouncy when I wipe it lol. They need to replace that crap.
I hear you about using the side mirror. Can’t gauge cars sneaking up behind. Almost had an accident other day but the alert sounded when it was about to pass me.
any air suspension issue? Sounds like...
100k miles mostly doing Lyft in this sucker — one of the first 10k VIN. Here's what's happened skipping the b.s. (its going to sound pessimistic at first but keep reading).
The Goodyear A/T tires were replaced at 40k (truck was hydroplaning bad on the road at that point, which seemed to...
...for the rearcamera, that doesn't require drilling a hole in the tailgate, we have both been thinking of solutions. The recent rearviewcamera penta prism 3D print uses Neodymium magnets to attach a 3D print to the tailgate, so that part is solvable, the issue remains on how to route the...
Thanks. I didn’t want to spend the money at first until I arrived at the T-Sportline to get the rearviewcamera mirror installed and saw another guy picking his truck up with his wife after just getting the same wheels, tires & brake calipers installed. Seeing how awesome they looked in person...
The image is not a mirror image nor upside down (thanks to the pentaprism configuration). Except for the lower height of the camera, it is the same as you get without the device installed. Good thought though - it would cause accidents if it was a mirror image!
I actually have it...
