...at them before. Better, but not ideal for my situation.
I like my s92 but for $2k I want an actual solution that keeps the factory rearviewcamera abilities. Even if it’s a relocation kit
Did you guys see the video of the guy who got saved by FSD avoiding a rear end collision...
I assume yes. and I thought that I saw someone on this forum who somehow figured it out. im hoping sometime sooner rather than later that wireless cameras that transmit to a rearview mirror screen location become a thing and that those cams will be able to talk to fsd.
I was only looking out the front at the time. Just making sure it was slowing at an appropriate rate for the car in front of me (you know, putting that supervised in supervised FSD).
I didn’t even hear the initial crash with my sound system doing its thing. I was surprised when it stopped where...
This is the latest version of Hansshow's Rearview Mirror Camera system for Cybertruck and let me tell you, it's refreshing to finally be able to glance at the space for the rearview mirror and actually see what's behind me. Sure, I got used to it in the main screen, but what about friends...
Nice example! Were you watching in the rearviewcamera when it happened? In other words, would you have perceived the accident about to occur? Or was FSD the only thing watching the rear at that time?
I just cleaned the front of the camera that is easily accessed. I’m not sure if it is the actual lens or just a cover (like on our phones). I agree you should be careful though. I used lens cleaning fluid and lens cleaning tissue and a very gentle hand. Again, I cannot with any certainty say it...
Too much of a gamble for the novice. I have removed my cameras and cleaned them as well. It did NOT stop the dry wipes.
I removed my cameras and cleaned them while changing my rearview mirror to a camera based rearview. It wasn't easy nor would I recommend doing it for a novice. Sometimes...
I took the time to clean under my glare shield last week. I do have the Hansshow rearviewcamera installed with the wires under the beauty cover. I took this opportunity to remove the front facing camera (from the Hansshow mirror dash cam system) to free up just a little more room under the...
I met a fellow CT owner who had a spare tire covering his rearviewcamera. He purchased a new rearcamera from Tesla, unplugged the old camera, then rewired and mounted the new camera on his Urander rack above the tailgate. He had to fiddle with it a bit but he said it worked. It’s definitely...
I had a '22 Tundra where the rearview mirror was a mirror and the cam screen. The day/night switch on the mirror switched it between mirror mode and cam screen and I normally had it on mirror for this reason.
I would recommend looking at the posting from MadCyber providing numerous installation tips.

looking for a camera cover for the newest version of the hansshow rearview mirror camera kit, I want to mount it above the rear bed area, but the cover hannshow sells is really for the older larger camera shape... anyone know where I could buy a cover?
I had an interesting conversation with Grok today about mirror law in Arizona. While Grok acknowledged that the law does not explicitly state that the rearview device must be a mirror for the side mirrors to be optional, it says there is a precedence that it must be a mirror. Grok mentioned...
I removed my rearview mirror off because I thought it was pointless to have and its so small!! Recently, I have seen ads for an upgraded camera mirror that can be used and was wondering if anyone has installed any and what their thought are on using it over the view that you get on the info...
Ok, but it doesn't. At highway speed it toggles the rearviewcamera on/off. At low speed it launches the camera app. In reverse (or i think anytime the camera app is open) it toggles the view forward/back. It's not a bug, or dangerous. It's just how it's programmed. The little arrows show up...
Planning to try that this weekend, thanks for the feedback. Also, the temp here in Phoenix was slightly down last couple days and my last outing I did not notice the blurry screen. Could it be the mirror doesn’t work as well when it’s super hot?? Maybe, also could just be a coincidence. I plan...
Well, the F-150, in all variations, is a big car by European standards. It's good to hear the Cybertruck is manoeuvrable but without having some TARDIS type technology, it will stick out from parking spots here, and be a squeeze for width. Parking spots are just the size they are and four-wheel...
